SENIOR FRONT END DEVELOPER (FULL-TIME REMOTE)

Vulcan is a group of globally-distributed creatives, engineers, and marketers working on creating custom digital projects for small and large companies alike. Our bread and butter are creating and programming relatable, well-structured, and aesthetically-pleasing apps. A few of our clients include Amazon, Olark, the United Nations, and Lindt Chocolate.

Job Description:
• We are looking for a senior-level Front-End Engineer, Min. 5 years of industry experience.
• Responsible for maintaining and extending our in-house tools and front-end architecture.
• Will regularly be tapped to help work on client projects, as you get comfortable with our workflow.
• Be highly motivated and well-organized; regular update of open issues and bugs, with the strength of succinctly explaining them to colleagues.
• The desire to participate in regular, internal hackathon-style collaboration settings to create new, innovative solutions for our team and clients.

Requirement:
• The ideal candidate should have experience in modern ES6+ flavoured JavaScript and/or TypeScript, React, Node.JS, SCSS, and git. Bonus points for comfortability with other languages, like C/C++, Swift, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, Scala, and/or Haskell.
• Should prefer a functional programming paradigm, and have a good amount of experience with REST and/or GraphQL-base APIs.
• Include an updated CV, a portfolio of past works, and a link to your Github is a must for the application to be considered.
• It will be a 40-hour/week role, full-time remote.
• You will work with our globally-distributed team on a variety of projects, focusing first on our internal software, before branching out to client work
• Candidates who have a demonstratively-strong use of the English language (ideally, with writing samples or recorded video) and in the GMT+7 (Jakarta or Yogyakarta) timezone will receive priority over other applicants.
