OCBC NISP have an opening for a senior data scientist to join our digital underwriting team.
The team builds data driven credit scoring and fraud detection deep learning models. In addition, the team conducts research and development in the quickly evolving machine learning/AI technology.

Job description:
• Work on machine learning models for credit scoring using alternative data source
• Develop fraud prevention process based on biometric identification
• Utilize enormous amount of data, both unstructured and structured data
• Work with data engineers to built ecosystem for machine learning
• Being pioneers and ambassadors to bring machine learning to all parts of the company
• Lead team and coach junior team members in model development process

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of data science experience in financial industry for example: fintech, multifinance, retail banking
• Strong coding skills in Python or R
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks & feature engineering
• Hands-on knowledge of working with cloud or Hadoop ecosystem
• Experience with deep learning frameworks for computer vision
• Experience in building a team and process

Qualification :

At least 1 year experience
- Experience with modern ETL tools (Talend/Nifi/Airflow)
- Skilled in SQL and/or Python
- Solid experience in database designing, preferably in BigQuery, Cloudera, Teradata
- Experienced with a diverse set of data technologies. Strong in SQL and ETL skills is a must
- Experienced in setting up and managing cloud services in at least one of the major cloud solutions providers, preferably in GCP
