The insurance industry is already in the midst of a transformation by Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Blockchain, and Cloud Services technologies. Riding on the back of this transformation, our company new innovation centre will consists of Engineers, Data Scientists, Product and UX that will change the way people feel about insurance.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
• Architect design for new innovative features and products
• Design, develop, deploy, and improve production web client and micro-services
• Explore latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Blockchain, etc.
• Web and server side development to prototype features based on the new tech
• Project ownership through prototyping lifecycle
• Collaborate with start-ups, solution providers, and other ecosystem organisations
• Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
• Work closely with product and design to build features that delight our customers
• Make data driven decisions
• Development is done in Java
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• Full Stack software development experience
• Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Java development preferred but not required
• Passionate about developing fast and reliable APIs
• Interested in prototyping with the latest technologies and exploring their limits
• Interested in learning new coding languages
• Startup experience preferred

Job Description:
- Software development for web applications with a possibility to specialise into fields like mobile/desktop app, infrastructure, security, etc in the future
- Participate in code reviews and tech discussions, help improve our development workflows and processes
- Collaborate on project management & product design with the team
- Continuously learn new technologies and development methods
- Take part in on-call and/or support rotations
- Join meetings with customers to get first-hand experience how our product is making a difference
Things we look for:
- Have 1+ years experience in web development with significant frontend logic (for example: frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or others), and 2+ years in web backend (for example: Java, C#, C++, Python, PHP, NodeJS, or others)
- Comfortable with using Linux, Git, and the command-line
- Care and focus on our product design and the user-experience
- Possess good work ethic, self-driven, and have that 'get-it-done' attitude
- Great written and verbal communication skills (both in Bahasa Indonesia and English)
