Agile Marketing & Media LLC leverages sophisticated, custom-built JavaScript proxy infrastructure for a critical SAAS product. We're seeking an expert JavaScript Developer to drive the evolution of these core systems.
🎯 Core Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain complex Node.js-based proxy scripts, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
- Implement advanced request/response lifecycle management, including header manipulation, content transformation, and dynamic routing logic.
- Optimize for high-throughput and low-latency operations using asynchronous patterns, connection pooling, and caching strategies.
- Integrate and manage various proxy protocols (HTTP/S, SOCKS5) and advanced features like session persistence, IP rotation, and user-agent spoofing.
- Develop robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms for real-time operational insight.
- Address challenges related to anti-bot systems, CAPTCHA handling, and browser fingerprinting where applicable.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the proxy infrastructure.
🛠 Technical Proficiencies Required
- Expert-level Node.js: Deep understanding of core APIs (http, https, net, streams, async_hooks), event loop, and performance characteristics.
- Advanced JavaScript (ES6+): Strong grasp of asynchronous programming (async/await, Promises), data structures, and design patterns.
- Network Protocols: Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, WebSocket, and SSL/TLS.
- Proxying Technologies: Experience with http-proxy-middleware, proxy-chain, or custom proxy logic. Familiarity with Nginx/HAProxy is a plus.
- Headless Browsers (Preferred): Experience with Puppeteer, Playwright, or similar tools for automation and proxy integration.
- Data Parsing/Manipulation: Skilled in Cheerio, JSDOM, and efficient handling of HTML/XML/JSON.
- Security: Knowledge of XSS, CSRF, and proxy-related security best practices.
- Performance & Scalability: Proficient in profiling, debugging, and scaling Node.js apps. Familiar with caching mechanisms like Redis.
- DevOps & Tooling: Comfortable with Git, CI/CD, Docker (preferred), and strong scripting skills.
