You will be responsible for:
* Participate in the backend environment, focusing on operating system, networking, integration, and maintenance
* Troubleshoot and debug service on server
* Collaborate with backend and frontend developer for deploying application
* Have a new idea for infrastucture for network and server environment
* Cooperate with developers, designers, and project manager to identify new features
* Willing to be placed in Jakarta and All Indonesia
Skills or interests you should have:
* Proven work experience as System Administrator or System Integrator
* Familiarity with OSI Layer
* Familiarity with Operating System Open Source and Windows Environment
* Familiarity with Web Server (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, IIS)
* Familiarity with Database Server (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDb, MsSQL)
* Familiarity with service email (postfix, dovecot, opendkim)
* Familiarity with Active Directory and LDAP
* Familiarity with Installation Operating System on physical server
* Familiarity with Virtualization Technology (VM Ware, Virtual Box, Open Nebula)
* Familiarity with DNS Server
* Excellent analytical and time management skills
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / Mercurial / SVN)
* Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
Most of all, you’ll be expected (and encouraged) to:
* Learn quickly,
* Make some mistakes,
* Develop solutions, and

is a US-based NGO and global community of thousands of volunteers working together to use maps and open data for humanitarian response and the Sustainable Development Goals. As the world’s preeminent participatory mapping NGO, HOT has fostered a global mapping community composed of more than 230,000 people with ground operations in eight countries. When major disaster strikes anywhere in the world, HOT rallies this global network to create the maps and data that enable responders to reach those in need.

JUNIOR DEVELOPER
Reports to: Module Owner
Contract Terms: 40 hrs, Monday - Friday; Flexible Schedule, with a minimum of 3-4 hours overlap with US East Coast business hours required; Employee with 1 year initial contract
Travel: Up to 20% international, including to HOT field project locations
