Audacious 4.0 Released With Qt 5: PPA Available for Ubuntu
Audacious is an open-source audio player available for Linux. Almost after 2 years of its last major release, Audacious 4.0 has arrived with some big changes.
Please REMEMBER, that with new computers about R1500 is the fee is included for MS Windows, which you do not even need or want in the end, as over 400 #Linux / #Ubuntu Distributions/Versions are readily available - depending on your individual taste and liking and that all basically for FREE, too‼️
I am using a mix of:
Linux Mint (with the Cinnamon Desktop)
▶️ LinuxMint.com
ZorinOS (especially for their Educational Version)
▶️ ZorinOS.com
Ubuntu (from Mark Shuttlework)
▶️ Ubuntu.com
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS release notes. Recommended system requirements: 2 GHz dual-core processor or better; 4 GB system memory; 25 GB of free hard disk space.
UbuntuStudio (for creative people)
▶️ UbuntuStudio.org
The first 2 of the above have a very Windows-like GUI (Graphical User Interface) or Desktop ‼️
All these Operating Systems can be also installed on an external drive (bootable), like a 32GB USB Stick (minimum), a 500GB HDD or 120GB SSD and larger to be completely MOBILE - and can basically boot-up any 64-bit computer (on the go) using it under Linux ‼️
— You can also install a 32-bit Linux Operating System, for older computers, but it has certain memory limitations, that go with the 32-bit world.
— This is another safe Methode, as your info can remain on an USB Stick, external 2.5" HDD or SSD (basically in your pocket) and the additional info on (another) USB Stick or external hard disk drive - and not on the actual computer being used, so depending on how you are organising it (spreading your data across external devices, like USB FlashDrive/Sticks and USB storage devices, like Hard Drives and/or fast SSD (Solid State Drives) you have total MOBILITY !
