The 4th "Agro Syria" exhibition, organized by the Mashhadani International Group, opens tomorrow at the Damascus Fairgrounds and features more than 120 local and international companies.

The event aims to promote agricultural innovation, enhance market efficiency, and foster cooperation, supporting economic recovery and sustainable development in Syria.

Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Air Transport, Omar al-Hosari, said a specialized risk management committee is meeting today to assess the readiness of Syria’s airspace and airports.

He added that discussions are focusing on the full reopening of national airspace, the restoration of all air routes, and the resumption of airport operations to ensure safe, efficient, and organized aviation services.

Syria’s General Authority of Civil Aviation announced Wednesday the full reopening of previously closed air corridors and the resumption of air traffic over Syrian airspace, following a comprehensive risk assessment.

The authority also confirmed the restart of regular operations at Damascus International Airport, including scheduled arrivals and departures, in coordination with regional and international bodies to ensure safety standards.

UNICEF in Syria said a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Planning and Statistics Authority to conduct a rapid nationwide assessment of children’s needs, aiming to improve service delivery and provide reliable data to support planning and ensure effective implementation.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister’s Office said the Masnaa border crossing on the Lebanese Syrian border will reopen at 6:00 p.m. today after it was closed following an Israeli threat to target it.
