Syriaโ€™s General Authority of Civil Aviation announced Wednesday the full reopening of previously closed air corridors and the resumption of air traffic over Syrian airspace, following a comprehensive risk assessment.

The authority also confirmed the restart of regular operations at Damascus International Airport, including scheduled arrivals and departures, in coordination with regional and international bodies to ensure safety standards.
