Probably think what your summer schedule would look like? You sometimes feel you have time for college application and sometimes you feel like time really flies? 🤔 Here is an outline which you can keep your track on what exactly you need to do:
1. July - August:
✅ Enroll in Research/Internship or Volunteer programs
✅ Prepare for the SAT
✅Build your Extracurricular and Resume
✅ Participate in honors and competitions
2. August - September:
✅ Take the SAT
✅ Start filling your common application (commonapp.org)
✅ Ask your teachers to write your recommendation letter in advance
✅ Brainstorm ideas for your personal statement
3. September - October:
✅ Finalyze building your college list
✅ Draft your personal statement (good enough for reviews)
✅ Take another SAT (If not satisfied with the August)
✅ Brainstorm ideas for your supplemental essay for your ED and EA schools.
4. October - November:
✅ Print your Transcript / Scan
✅ Finalize your Personal statement and edit your supplementals essays
✅ Make sure your recommenders finished their recommendation letters and submit
✅✅✅ Submit your ED and EA application as early as Octobwr 15 - November 1st
5. November - January:
🔐 Lock-in for RD application😉
