🔹 pale ,yellow-tan ,firm ,nodular ;resembles
lymph nodes

◽️السهم الابيض ----> Normal tissue
▪️السهم الاسود -----> Lymphoid follicles

🔻Hashimoto thyroiditis,

Atrophic gland gross

🔹There is relentless destruction of thyroid
follicles over the years, with eventual
atrophy

يحصل الـ atrophy بسبب تدمر الـ Follicles
ويكون Symmetrical

🔹This low power microscopic view of thyroid
gland shows an early stage of Hashimoto
thyroiditis with prominent lymphoid follicles

نلاحظ وجود prominent lymphoid follicles
لان عاده في Early stage
◾️الاسهم السوداء تشير الى Germinal Center
▫️والنقاط الزرقاء تشير الاسهم تشير الى تجمع Lymphocytes في اطراف germinal

▫️الاسهم البيضاء -----> epitheliod cell
▪️الاسهم السوداء ------> Giant cell
🔺الاسهم الحمراء -----> Follicles بداخلها colloid

وهذا السلايد مهم

للفائدة الدكتور قال ان في مرض في الـ Kidney يصيب tubules ويحصل بينها Fibrosis ويحصل destruction of tubules و ايضا ً atrophy 😳
والـ Tubules ذي ما حصل لها atrophy يحصل لها adaptation وتتوسع فتظهر بشكل Follicles
نميز بين السلايد هذا ( Follicles of thyroid) من حق الـ Kidney
ان في الـ kidney
يوجد glomeral tubules --> شعيرات دموية🩸 تجمعت

🔻Thyroid with colloid cysts
gross

🔹One of the most common lesions to
produce a palpable nodule of the thyroid
gland is a colloid. cyst.

🔹 The cyst is flled with colloid and surrounded by tlattened cuboidal epithelium.

🔹Patients are euthyroid Seen here is
〰 a larger colloid cyst anteriorly and inferiorly in the left _lower lobe
〰 a smaller cyst ( laterally in the right
lower lobe (butter fly) brownish cystic

🔻Diffuse Enlargement Gland ( Colloid )

بنشوف وجود Macronoduar

غالبا بسبب نقص اليود 👍

🔹Multinodular goiters are often asymmetric, although both lobes become enlarged.
🔹Most patients remain euthyroid, bothered only by the mass effect.
🔹 Larger masses may be removed because of fixedairway obstruction, dysphagia
