🔲 Trichrome stain from patient with chronic hepatitis B and autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) showing portal portal bridging Fibrosis
مثل ما نعرف ان Collagen fibers تظهر
في H&E stain باللون الـ pink وماتكون ظاهرة
فصبغها بصبغة خاصة اسمها Trichrome stain
فتظهر باللون الازرق

🔅الاسهم تشير الى Fibrosis الخاصل في حالة Chronic hepatitis اما بسبب فيروس B او بسبب AIH

🔳CHRONIC HEPATITIS C
🔸 Although portal tracts may contain lymphoid nodules in chronic hepatitis of any cause it is more commonly seen in chronic hepatitis C.
الـ portal tracts قد تحوي Lymphoid nodules في الالتهاب المزمن لاي سبب ولكن تكون اكثر شيوعاً في Chronic hepatitis C

🔸Lymphoid follicles with germinal centers (arrow) may also occur.
السهم يشير الى Lymphoid follicles with germinal centers وهذي مميزه للالتهاب المزمن بسبب فيروس C

🔸 The portal tracts may be expanded because of lymphoid infiltrate
قد تتوسع الـ portal tracts
بسبب lymphoid infiltrate

🔲CHRONIC HEPATITIS C

🔸Hepatocellular death by apoptosis at the site of inflammation is a common feature of chronic viral hepatitis.

قد يحدث Hepatocellular death by apoptosis في مكان الالتهاب في حالة الالتهاب المزمن


السهم رقم 1 يشير الى Apoptotic cells
🔸Apoptotic cells show condensed eosinophilic cytoplasm and dark condensed nuclei.

قد تختفي النواة من الـ Apoptotic cells وتترك مايسمى “acidophil” bodies. تشير اليها الاسهم رقم 2
🔸Nuclei may disappear leaving what is called “acidophil” bodies.

🔸The presence of hepatocellular necrosis at the interface is a pathognomonic feature of disease activity and damage of hepatocytes
