We’ve just awarded the contract to design and construct the CR19 #JurongLakeDistrict station and tunnels under the #CrossIslandLine Phase 2 (#CRL2) to KTC Civil Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd (KTC). 🚆🏗️
As an established local company, KTC has previously constructed Tampines interchange station on the #DTL and Orchard Boulevard station on the #TEL.
Construction works are expected to start in Q4 2024. 🚧 When completed, commuters can save about 20 mins in travel time when commuting from Jurong Lake District to Pasir Ris Central ⏰🚆.
🗓️📍 #DidYouKnow The CRL, Singapore’s eighth MRT line, will connect key areas such as Jurong Lake District, Punggol Digital District, and Changi region, enhancing connectivity across eastern, north-eastern, and western corridors.
