Lupus (SLE) frequently presents with arthritis, skin rash, and kidney involvement:
• Arthritis is non-erosive (doesn't erode the cartilage or bone).
• Skin rash can be malar rash, discoid, scarring alopecia, photosensitivity (ulcers in sun-exposed regions), and livedo reticularis.
• Kidney involvement can present in almost any form of glomerulonephritis, but the most frequent type is DPGN (Diffuse Proliferative GlomeruloNephritis) which has both nephritic & nephrotic features.

Michael Jackson suffered from lupus (the discoid type) that causes photosensitivity. Which is likely why he used to carry an umbrella and wear long clothes.
Also, lupus shows a higher prevalence among African Americans.

Discoid lupus is associated with dyspigmentation (not to be confused with vitiligo)
If a fracture occurs with trivial trauma, suspect a pathological lesion.
Pain, bruising and swelling are common symptoms in fractures, but they do not distinguish a fracture from a soft-tissue injury. Deformity is much more suggestive.
Remember also that some children with greenstick fractures, and elderly people with impacted fractures of the femoral neck may experience little or no pain or loss of function.

A peculiar finding in osteomalacia (rickets) is what we call a pseudo fracture ; X-rays often show osteopenia or vertebral crush fractures and, with more advanced disease, focal radiolucent areas (pseudofractures or Looser’s zones) in ribs, pelvis and long…
It can be commonly mistaken for a real fracture
While in reality it's not
The radiolucent area is just an area of osteo stems lacking CaPO4 which is a feature seen in vit D deficiency causing osteomalacia or rickets
