All patients with narcolepsy have chronic sleepiness, but they do not sleep more than healthy individuals during a 24-hour period. They are prone to fall asleep throughout the day, often at inappropriate times. The sleepiness may be so severe that patients with narcolepsy can rapidly doze off with little warning; these episodes are commonly referred to as "sleep attacks." Sleepiness associated with narcolepsy usually improves temporarily after a brief nap, and most patients feel rested when they awake in the morning.

People with Parkinson's & Wilson's disease can have abnormally small handwriting. This is because Parkinson is a "hypo-kinetic disorder" which means that it causes difficulty initiating movement.

As the patient will usually have lost consciousness by the time you have realized that the change in the ECG pattern is not just due to a loosely connected machine, the diagnosis of ventricular fibrillation becomes easy.

On the human voice

الشخص الطبيعي يتكلم باستخدام شغلتين: هواء الزفير، وحباله الصوتية الموجودة بداخل حنجرته.
وظيفة الحبال الصوتية هي أنّ تضيّق المسار اللي يطلع منه هواء الزفير بحيث يزيد ضغط الهواء وبنفس الوقت يسبب اهتزاز الحبال الصوتية، وبالنتيجة يتحول هواء الزفير من مجرد صوت تنفس، إلى صوت بشري (بالضبط مثل جدر الضغط أو قوري الجاي من يفور ويطلّع صوت: لأن الضغط زاد، ولأن الهواء المضغوط ديطلع من مكان ضيق نسبيًا).
إهتزاز الحبال الصوتية هو المسؤول عن عُمق وَحِدّة الصوت وطبيعته عمومًا. بعدها ينتقل هواء الزفير للفم ويتم نُطقه articulated باستخدام اللسان والأسنان فيتحول لأصوات مختلفة (إذا رفعت لسانك وخليته يلمس سقف الفم، رح يطلع حرف اللام، إذا طبقت أسنانك رح يطلع صوت السين، ... إلخ).
