For detection of any protein or blood in urine when kidney is involved ( the classical pattern of disease)

Treatment:

- The steroid drugs:
prednisolone is the one most commonly employed.

- immunosuppressive drugs:
The most commonly used drugs are cyclophosphamide and azathioprine.
