នៅថ្ងៃទី១០ មិថុនា ២០២៥ មុននឹងវិលត្រលប់មកកម្ពុជា សម្តេចធិបតី ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត និងលោកជំទាវ បានអញ្ជើញទទួលទានអាហារពេលល្ងាចនៅភោជនីយដ្ឋានម្ហូបខ្មែរ របស់បងប្អូនខ្មែរនៅទីក្រុងនីស ប្រទេសបារាំង។

សម្តេចធិបតីបានជួបសំណេះសំណាល និងសួរសុខទុក្ខជាមួយបងប្អូនខ្មែរមួយចំនួន ដែលកំពុងរស់នៅ និងប្រកបមុខរបរនៅទីនោះ។ ទោះបីជាមិនអាចជួបជាមួយសហគមន៍ខ្មែរទាំងមូលដោយសារពេលវេលាមានកំណត់ក្តី សម្តេចមានអារម្មណ៍សប្បាយរីករាយក្នុងការជួបជុំជាមួយបងប្អូនជាច្រើន និងបានថ្លែងអំណរគុណចំពោះការស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅពីលោកអ៊ំ មីង បងប្អូន និងក្មួយៗ។

សម្តេចបានបញ្ជាក់ថា បងប្អូនខ្មែរនៅបរទេសនៅតែមានចិត្តនឹកចំពោះស្រុកកំណើត និងបង្ហាញក្តីបារម្មណ៍ចំពោះបញ្ហាព្រំដែន។ បងប្អូនសហគមន៍ខ្មែរបានសូមឱ្យរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលបន្តអភិវឌ្ឍប្រទេស ឲ្យកាន់តែរីកចំរើន និងរក្សាសន្តិភាព។

ជាការឆ្លើយតប សម្តេចបានបញ្ជាក់ថា រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា ប្តេជ្ញាដាច់ខាតក្នុងការការពារបូរណភាពទឹកដី និងស្វែងរកដំណោះស្រាយតាមសន្តិវិធី ដើម្បីជៀសវាងសង្គ្រាម និងការពារផលប្រយោជន៍ជាតិ និងប្រជាជនខ្មែរ។

Ministry of Information Halts Broadcast of Thai Films on TVs

The Ministry of Information has instructed all local television stations to cease broadcasting Thai films, effective from midnight on June 12, 2025.

"The Ministry of Information would like to inform the owners of all television stations that, starting from midnight on June 12, 2025, all TV stations in Cambodia must cease broadcasting all types of Thai films on their channels," announced the ministry in an official statement.

The directive follows a suggestion by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Hun Sen, President of the Senate.

On June 12, Samdech Techo Hun Sen publicly called on the Royal Government of Cambodia to consider suspending the broadcast of Thai films in light of rising tensions between the two countries.

The proposal comes amid growing concerns over threats from extremist groups in Thailand to cut off electricity and internet services to Cambodia.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen mentioned that Thai extremist groups, supported by pro-war military factions, have threatened Cambodia with power and internet cutoffs. “But what power are they referring to when Cambodia doesn't even rely on Thai electricity? And what internet, when Cambodia already has sufficient access?” he questioned.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen added that he has consistently urged that military tensions in one area should not spill over into others or into different sectors. However, it is now clear that the issue has already escalated—examples include unilateral border closures, reduced length of stay for visitors, and threats to cut electricity and internet access, as well as unauthorised incursions at certain border checkpoints driven by arbitrary decisions.

MPTC: Cambodian Telecom Operators Disconnect Cross-Border Internet Links with Thailand

AKP Phnom Penh, June 13, 2025 --In response to the threat by Thailand side to cut off the internet bandwidth to Cambodia, all telecommunications operators in Cambodia have now disconnected all cross-border internet links with Thailand.

The announcement was made last night by H.E. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC).

“The disconnection will lead to Thailand’s loss revenue amounting up to hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars,” he added. “The consequence is due to the threat from Thailand, to which Cambodia has promptly responded.”

In a social media post on June 12, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet stated that Cambodia has decided to ensure its own electricity and internet supply.

H.E. Keo Rottanak, Minister of Mines and Energy, also affirmed that Cambodia is capable of meeting its own electricity needs.

Moreover, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister has instructed other ministries and relevant institutions to review the situation and prepare to take additional measures in case of any further threats of disconnection from the Thai side.
