Now is the time to collectively turn to the Lord during this new aggression in the Middle East, and amidst the issues we have here at home. Would you worship with me by listening to this song? It reaches out to the Lord during trouble. May we call upon His name, together.

We have asked Maricopa County Supervisors to come to a meeting on Tuesday to answer questions regarding irregularities discovered during the audit. They have yet to answer questions, and just accuse us of lying.
From Senator Petersen

The County has not agreed to come on Tuesday. So far they have just said they are doing a press conference on Monday.
You will know them by their fruit. Matthew 7:16

On one hand, you have the Arizona State Senate who is endeavoring to answer the questions of our constituents as to whether or not this 2020 general election was conducted accurately. On the other hand, you have Maricopa county supervisors doing everything they can to discredit and obstruct this effort. You therefore can ascertain who is interested in what. I believe the fact that they refused to answer our questions yesterday tells you everything you need to know and exactly what kind of fruit they do bear.
Tomorrow we will be voting on HB2190, which would prohibit vaccine passports in government institutions. I am told that Ugenti-Rita is unlikely to be there which would cause the bill to die. If that happens I will have to vote no in order to reconsider it at another date. In order to motion to reconsider you have to have voted on the prevailing side. If the no votes prevail, then I also have to vote no in order to make the motion. Hopefully that makes sense and when you see my no vote it will only be so that we can bring it back if it is failing due to attendance.
I wanted to let everyone know that my bill, SB1241, will be heard in the House soon that will include amendments that I asked for that increase security measures for elections. Please email legislators and ask them to support the amendment.
The amendment includes increased chain of custody of removable data storage devices, observers during more election procedures, who can be around hard drives, accountability regarding ballot adjudication, and other much needed security measures. The amendment should be published tomorrow.
There seems to be a bit of confusion about when bills will go into effect. Here's the skinny:

All bills passed without an emergency clause will go into effect 90 days after we close session Sine Die (last day of legislative session). Sine Die happens sometime between mid April and late May. If we closed Sine Die on Jun 1, the regular bills would go into effect Sept 1.

The Primary election is Aug 2, 2022. Therefore, all bills that we pass this year will go into effect later this year after the 90 day period and will be in place next year.

Bills we pass next year will likely not be in effect until late August, after the primary, but before the General. Even if we closed sooner, major reforms would need to be implemented, which takes time.

Therefore, we must have significant changes in place this year if they will be in time for next year's primary. My bill, SB1241, has significant reform to dramatically reduce the chance for fraud. I believe we can get 16 votes in the Senate and 31 in the House to get that bill done this year. It was dead, but I insisted that we not go home without it. Please contact the members and ask them to support the bill today.

As for replacing the machines, I will be spending the remainder of the year working with stakeholders to find the path forward for that. I ask for your support in this effort. We do not have the support for that kind of overhaul without a replacement plan this year, unfortunately.

In the meantime, please keep an eye on the Redistricting process. That will be a big part of fair elections.
