TRACK & FIELD EAST:

The countdown is over as the 2025 Eastern Region Second Cycle Schools Athletics Championship gets underway tomorrow, Monday, May 12, with the zonal qualifiers.

In a historic first, all 91 participating schools have been grouped into four zones. Each zone will compete fiercely over the coming days, with the top five boys’ and girls’ schools earning a coveted spot in the Super-Zonal finals later this month.

The much-anticipated Super-Zonal meet is scheduled for May 22–23, 2025, and promises to showcase the very best of school athletics across the region.

We will try to bring you the updates, highlights, and standout performances as the road to regional glory begins.

Ghana Senior High School (GHANASS) made their stature count as they dominated the Boys' Division to emerge ZONAL CHAMPIONS.
