These are not headlines our Government can hide from, these are headlines they must answer for.

How did Australia find itself being praised as ‘courageous’ by terrorists?

The answer is a damning moral failure in the face of terrorism.
I join many in the tennis world in mourning the passing of Warren Jacques. Player, coach & captain of the Great Britain Davis Cup team, he was a great family friend & great bloke who I first met as a teen when he was coaching Kevin Curren. Condolences to his wife Helen & family.
It has taken two years, but Australia is finally fighting back against terrorism and extremism.

Confirmation of Iran’s involvement in antisemitic attacks on our home soil should unnerve every Australian, and shame those who sought to downplay the significance and severity of those attacks.

The expulsion of Iran’s Ambassador must be the start of even stronger efforts to expose and punish those responsible for the explosion of violent Jew-hate which has become normalised in Australia.

Our sovereignty and our security depends on it.
The death of two Victorian police officers in the line of duty is an absolute tragedy.

Our hearts go out to their families, and to all their colleagues who risk their lives every day to protect us.
Charlie Kirk’s tragic death is our wake-up call. The toxic and dangerous political climate in the US is manifesting itself here in Australia.

Our political & civil leaders must move quickly & more effectively to counter the hotbed of hate in our own society to ensure Kirk’s death does not become our new reality.
The forced closure & relocation of the Prime Minister’s office, due to what he calls ‘aggressive’ pro-Palestinian protestors, begs the question - who’s in charge?

How do we accept in a democracy that protestors intimidate the PM to the extent that he is the one who has to pack up stumps.

This is what happens when you keep giving ground to those who hate and those who harm. It emboldens them. I say to the Deputy PM Richard Marles - you are right - it is a ‘complete disgrace,’ but it is you and your Government that can do something about it.

It is high time those in authority asserted their authority. It has been allowed to go way too far endangering us all👇
Unchecked hate has led to the murders in Manchester. It’s tragic, but unsurprising.

It’s another red alert for our leaders, and a call for stronger action. For too long, a foreign conflict has been allowed to radicalise our domestic debate.

It’s simply not enough for our government to say “we are providing more security” for the Jewish community, without acknowledging why it’s happening and stopping it from happening. This means, Prime Minister, taking on some of your own side.

This is not just a fight against antisemitism, this is a fight for Australia, and right now, we are losing.
Today as we pause, reflect, and commemorate the two year anniversary of Hamas’s horrific attack on October 7, we hope and pray that the war will end and the hostages will be returned home.

Events of the last two years have been “unbelievable’.”

Unbelievable that even after the greatest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust, 48 hostages, less than half of whom are believed to be alive, still remain in the dungeons of Gaza, tortured by the monsters of Hamas as they are made to dig their own graves.

Unbelievable that there has been the tragic loss of so many innocent lives on both sides of this conflict, so much of which could have been avoided if Hamas released the hostages and surrendered their arms.

Unbelievable that Israel could suffer such an intelligence failure on that fateful day, October 7.

Unbelievable that Israel could achieve such intelligence successes against its enemies Hezbollah, the Houthis, and the Iranian regime in the days since.
On this day, the second anniversary of Hamas’ horrific October 7 attack, we have Australians openly supporting terrorism on Melbourne’s streets.

These extremists do it because they are allowed to get away with it.

Prime Minister and Premier, do something now!

Whatever you think you have done, it’s not enough and it’s clearly not working.

Stop the violence. Stop the hate. Save our state and save our country from this descent into darkness.

We, Victorians and Australians, deserve better.
Penny Wong claiming credit for ending the war in Gaza is wrong, offensive and does not stand up to a second of scrutiny.

The fact is, her actions have been praised by the terrorists of Hamas, making their surrender less likely and a ceasefire more difficult.

You have to hand it to The Nightly’s editor, Chris Dore, and The Australian’s cartoonist, Johannes Leak. In a simple image and a few words, they have just nailed it! 👇
October 7 was an abomination.

Today is a celebration.

Blessed are the peacemakers.

After another night of violent home invasions, it’s been revealed how pro-Palestinian protests have diverted 25,000 police shifts and contributed to Melbourne’s crime wave.

The Chief Commisioner of Police saying today ‘if I took half of those 25,000 shifts and dedicated them to prevention, we’d have less crime.’

It’s time the Victorian Premier stopped being a bystander and stepped up to protect Victorians who no longer feel safe at home or on the street.
Vale Graham Richardson, whose brave battle with cancer has come to an end. A fiercely loyal Labor man who was not afraid to make friends across the political aisle.

I enjoyed his company and his insights, and extend my condolences to Amanda, Darcy, and the family.
Australia has lost another exceptional broadcaster this week with the passing of Leon Byner. In a career spanning nearly 60 years, he was always entertaining, informative and larger than life.

It was a pleasure to join him on air on FIVEAA, and to know him off air too. He will be sadly missed.

Congratulations to Jess Wilson on her election as the Leader of the Victorian Liberal Party.

Jess is smart, sensible, and determined, and has what it takes to lead the State and create a better future for all Victorians.

I have seen first hand her ability to get across complex policy and to communicate ideas effectively and with empathy. She has, at all times, reflected the very best values.

I wish Jess and her team good luck for the journey ahead. There is only one thing that counts from here: creating a safer and stronger Victoria.
