There will be a JCB to Joomla 4 Meeting on Monday 29 August for those interested. I am finished with the Container (DI) build foundation for the refactoring of the compiler and will go over the architecture.

Meeting tonight about the new search feature, and other progress made towards Joomla 4.

This area will grow as we move more and more code out of the old compiler here. But it is already enough of an idea of what we are doing, and the direction we are going.

- Was a great meeting, we could look over the new search feature in action.
- We have plans to move it into JCB over the coming weekend.
- Refactoring of the compiler is on hold until we have the new search feature in place as it will play a vital roll in this process for all.
- The meeting time will remain at 6pm UTC +2 while we are working in the transition to Joomla 4 as those who are most active contributors find this more convenient.
- At this time we will not focus on Rector, as the refactoring on JCB will be highest priority.

Meeting canceled… we did not make enough progress on the search feature. Yet version 3.1.9 was released yesterday with some bug fixes and improvements all over. ENJOY 🎉

Okay so the BETA search feature v3.1.11 has been released 🎉

The Joomla community will move from GLIP to Mattermost for our daily communication.

How to move:
- Go to joom.la/chat
- Login with your Joomla! Identity Account (or register one with any email address)
- Give your consent the first time you log in
- Start joining channels and chatting with others.

I just want to make this clear, JCB has not moved its official channel to Mattermost. We will still continue our conversation and communication here on Telegram.
