Evan's Cold State Capital:

The Pre-Agreed Architecture

To understand what was actually negotiated before and during the theater, you have to look at who benefits from the outcomes and whether those benefits are distributed in a way that suggests coordination rather than chance.

Start with the Transnational Private Sector.

The TPS needed several things from this region that the pre-war status quo could not deliver.

– It needed a reset of energy contracts that had been locked into structures dating back decades.

– It needed reconstruction economics that would open new markets for infrastructure, defense, and technology firms.

– It needed a regional security architecture that was stable enough to protect long-term capital flows but flexible enough to allow new entrants.

– And it needed the political obstacles to these outcomes removed.

The war delivered all of this.

Gulf energy infrastructure was damaged in ways that are severe enough to require massive reconstruction investment but not severe enough to permanently destroy productive capacity.

Qatar lost 17 percent of its gas production at Ras Laffan, with projected losses of $100 billion over five years and restoration timelines to match.

Kuwait's petroleum headquarters was hit.

UAE facilities were struck.

Saudi pipelines were targeted.

Every one of these "attacks" creates a reconstruction contract.

Every reconstruction contract is an opportunity to renegotiate the terms of ownership, operation, and revenue sharing.

The old contracts, many of which were written under conditions that no longer reflect the balance of power, get torn up and replaced with new ones that reflect the post-war reality.

This is not collateral damage. This is asset repricing through kinetic means.

The TPS sectors that will rebuild these facilities, the engineering firms, the defense contractors, the financial institutions that will underwrite the reconstruction, the insurance markets that will reprice regional risk, all of them benefit from a controlled disruption that is large enough to justify new terms but bounded enough to preserve the underlying productive infrastructure.

You do not destroy what you plan to profit from. You damage it just enough to renegotiate.

War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu’s criminal trial is set to resume on Sunday after weeks in which Israel’s court system operated under emergency restrictions because of the war with Iran.

According to the court notice, the next hearing is scheduled for Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Jerusalem District Court for the testimony of a defense witness.

The notice also says that, with the emergency status lifted and the justice system returning to regular work, the hearings will now resume in their ordinary format: Sundays in Jerusalem, and Mondays through Wednesdays at the Tel Aviv District Court.

The pause was not unique to Netanyahu’s case. Following the outbreak of the war on February 28, the Justice Ministry placed the courts under a “special emergency” format that sharply curtailed regular proceedings and left only urgent matters moving. That framework was extended several times, with the latest official notice stating that the emergency regime remained in place through Thursday.

With that period now ending, Netanyahu’s trial, like many other non-urgent criminal and civil proceedings, is returning to the calendar.

Substantively, the trial is resuming in the middle of Netanyahu’s cross-examination in the long-running corruption case involving Cases 1000, 2000, and 4000. Netanyahu was indicted in 2019 and has pleaded not guilty, denying all wrongdoing.

Netanyahu began testifying in December 2024, becoming the first sitting Israeli prime minister to take the stand as a criminal defendant, and prosecutors began cross-examining him in June 2025 after months of direct examination by the defense.

Evan @EvanWritesOnX

The most important sentence in this entire 'war' was not spoken by Trump or Netanyahu or Iran.

🇱🇧 It was spoken by Lebanon's prime minister.

"No one negotiates on behalf of Lebanon except the Lebanese state."

That sentence ended Israel's justification for being in Lebanon.

Because if Lebanon's own government is asserting sovereignty, asking for direct talks, and positioning itself independently from Hezbollah,

then what exactly is Israel bombing?

Not a proxy.

A country.

And the entire region just watched Israel respond to a peace offer with a massacre.

Over 1800 dead.

Hours after signing onto a ceasefire it claimed to support.

See this "war", was conducted because every major player decided to avoid a real war.

It was a managed reset of the entire Middle Eastern order.

🗣 Khamenei was removed to unlock Iran's pragmatist faction.

🗣 Gulf infrastructure was damaged just enough to justify new reconstruction contracts and energy repricing.

🇵🇰 Pakistan was elevated as the new mediation hub.

🇨🇳China embedded yuan settlement into Hormuz transit.

Every major actor got something out of this.

🗣 Every actor except Israel.

Iran's pragmatists accepted the ceasefire, honored it, and showed up ready to negotiate. They traded the resistance axis for a seat at the table.

The Gulf states absorbed their hits and immediately started calculating reconstruction terms. Old contracts get renegotiated. New security frameworks get funded. Saudi Arabia collected record oil premiums throughout the entire war.

The damage was not a catastrophe. It was a business opportunity.

🇵🇰 Pakistan went from a country defined by debt and instability to the broker of the most consequential ceasefire in a generation.

🇨🇳 China backed it. 🇹🇷Turkey, 🇪🇬 Egypt, and 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia participated.

And while all of this was happening, while every other player in the region was quietly positioning for the post-war order,

Netanyahu launched "Operation Eternal Darkness" on Lebanese civilians because his coalition needed it.

That is how you know this is a foregone conclusion.

🗣 Israel is being governed by a finite-game logic.

Every decision is optimized for the survival of a coalition that needs war, needs territorial expansion, needs the Litani River, needs the rejection of every ceasefire and every framework and every deal.

The coalition survives.

The state erodes.

Because everyone else is playing the infinite game.

Iran's pragmatists are trading proxies for sanctions relief and economic reintegration.

The Gulf states are trading reconstruction contracts for a new security architecture.

Pakistan is trading mediation for structural relevance.

China is trading diplomatic backing for energy settlement in yuan.

Lebanon's prime minister is trading Hezbollah's monopoly on resistance for actual state sovereignty.

Every single one of these trades points in the same direction.

🗣 Away from Israel.

The best part is, no one sat in a room and planned the isolation of Israel.

What happened is worse.

Every rational actor in the system, pursuing its own survival logic, independently arrived at the same conclusion:

the future gets built without Israel's participation.

🗣 The strangulation of Israel has arrived.

AIPAC shoots down resolution condemning AIPAC.

The US two-party system is actually a united bipartisan coalition owned by jews.

The Democrat/Republican divide is show theater for senile geriatric boomers to pretend like they are part of a team and have a say in how the country is run.

Bad news grandpa, you don’t.

The Iranians don’t seem to realize they have no cards, other than a short term extortion of the World by using International Waterways.

The only reason they are alive today is to negotiate!

Negotiations between Israel and Lebanon are beginning to take shape, with Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, set to speak Friday evening with Lebanon’s ambassador to Washington, Nada Hamadeh Moawad, to finalize the terms of talks due to begin formally next week.

A U.S. representative is also expected to take part in the conversation, and according to one Arabic media report, it may be the U.S. ambassador to Beirut.

A senior Lebanese official told Reuters as early as Thursday that Lebanon wants a temporary ceasefire for talks with Israel and needs the United States to serve as guarantor for any agreement.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement of direct negotiations with Lebanon came under pressure from President Donald Trump, who told him to scale back the strikes and open direct talks aimed at disarming Hezbollah.

“I spoke to Bibi and he’s going to act in a restrained way,” Trump told NBC on Thursday. “I think we need to be a little bit more restrained.”

Netanyahu said the decision was made “in light of Lebanon’s repeated requests to open direct negotiations with Israel.”

The instruction was given at the Cabinet meeting the day before yesterday and, according to the prime minister, “the negotiations will focus on disarming Hezbollah and arranging peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon.”
