NEW DETAILS: B-2 stealth bombers deployed to Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean have been hitting Houthi targets in Yemen for the past week, a U.S. official tells Fox News’ @Liz_Friden. Six B-2A stealth bombers were deployed to the joint U.S. UK base in the Indian Ocean last month.

The B-2's are used to target the Iran-backed Houthi underground weapons storage facilities. The B2 is the only U.S. aircraft that can carry the GBU-57 bunker buster bombs, America's largest non-nuclear bomb, nicknamed the "Father of all Bombs," and each B-2 can carry two of these 30,000-pound “Bunker Busters” uniquely designed for underground targets. The Houthis have an extensive network of underground weapons storage facilities. The “Bunker Buster” bombs cost an estimated $20 million apiece.
The U.S. Air Force only has 20 B-2 stealth bombers in its inventory and 6 are now deployed to Diego Garcia as part of the Houthi operation.

B-2's were last used to target the Houthis in one operation under President Biden in October.

NEW: Another U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down by the Houthis in Yemen, sources tell Fox News. This is the fourth MQ-9 Reaper drone shot down by the Houthis since March 3rd, and the fourth shot down under the Trump administration. It is the third U.S. MQ-9 drone shot down over Yemen since U.S. Central Command began daily airstrikes on the Houthis on March 15th. The U.S. military has carried out 25 straight days of bombing, including with B-2 stealth bombers dropping bunker buster bombs, and yet the Houthis continue to fire missiles to shoot these expensive U.S. assets down.

Col. Susannah Meyers who was the commander of the Pentagon's most northern military base, Pituffik Space Base in Greenland was removed from command on Thursday after an email was discovered where she distanced herself from the Trump administration’s stance on Greenland, @Liz_Friden reports. Following Vice President JD Vance's visit on March 28th, Meyers sent an email, "I do not presume to understand current politics, but what I do know is the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Ptuffik Space Base."

Cody Allen Balmer, the man accused of setting fire to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's home served in the Army reserves from 2004 to 2012, an Army spokesperson tells Fox News. Balmer was a construction equipment repairer and had no deployments.
