John gave us this chance to be here, close to you all. It is not something we take lightly. We have lived most of our lives under pressure, in silence, away from attention, learning early that responsibility sometimes comes before understanding.

From the very beginning, our lives were not ordinary. We were raised with the awareness that we would one day carry something forward. Our father made that clear through his letters and through the values he passed down to all his children. He taught us discipline, patience, and the importance of standing by what you believe in, even when it is difficult.

John has carried that same weight throughout his life. Not in a dramatic way, but in a constant one. Pressure, expectations, and challenges have followed him for as long as we can remember. There were difficult moments, moments that tested him deeply, and times when life became very intense and uncertain. But through all of it, he kept going. He never stepped away from what he felt responsible for.

Now things are changing. Stepping into the open feels natural, but also serious. It means no more distance. No more silence. It means being present, being honest, and standing closer to the people we speak about.

The Thousand Days That Never Ended

We grew up with a name the world thought it understood.
To them, he was a president.
A voice. A moment in history that began and ended in a way that felt… complete.
To us, he was never just that.

His presidency, though it lasted only a thousand days, left a mark that never faded — not on the American people, and not on the world.

A thousand days in which he spoke of service not as duty, but as responsibility...
A thousand days of courage not as image, but as action...
A thousand days of frontiers not just in space, but in the human spirit — in justice, in equality, in the belief that a nation could become more than what it had been...

A thousand days for some, a lifetime for others, just a moment yet those thousand days changed everything.
They changed not only the course of history, but the way that moment would be remembered… and the way it would be named.

To history, that time would later be called Camelot.

Our father understood the magnitude of the work he had ahead of him and most importantly, he understood the sacrifice needed to achieve it!

He challenged the Deep state, believing that a nation should serve its people not control them—and that true strength came from freedom, transparency, and the courage to pursue a different kind of America.

He went against the Pentagon and their destructive plans.
He forced J. Edgar Hoover to fight crime and enforce civil rights instead of spying on Americans.

Most importantly, he wanted to change the 'old ways' where a few were protected by the system and the many were paying the bill for their ignorance.

But the deeper he tried to cut at the roots, the stronger the resistance he had to face.
It's not a secret that the CIA, the FBI and the military generals did not like our father... for obvious reasons.
And he knew that. He knew the danger that he would face when he challenged the system.

And he accepted his fate.
But he wasn't willing to sacrifice us...
There are things a child understands without being told.
The pauses in conversations.
The way certain names were never spoken lightly.

He knew the cost of what he stood for. Not in theory. In certainty.
He had seen what happens to those who refuse to bend.
Who challenge what is deeply rooted.
Who speak in ways that cannot be easily controlled, redirected, or contained.

He understood that power does not always confront in the open.
Sometimes it waits.
Sometimes it closes in slowly, until choices are no longer choices.

And he understood something else something far more personal.
That the consequences would not end with him.

Every decision he made… every line he refused to cross… every direction he chose… carried weight beyond his own life. It carried forward.
To us.

We were never meant to live in the light of his name.
Not completely. Not safely.
There are legacies that inspire.
And there are legacies that must be protected.

And like any father would, when faced with a world he understood better than anyone around him… he chose protection over presence.
What everybody believed they saw… was not the full truth.

It was the version that could be accepted.
The version that allowed everything else to disappear quietly.
But disappearance is not always loss.

Sometimes… it is preparation.
And sometimes, what is hidden is not gone.
It is waiting.
For the moment when it can exist… without being taken.
