💉 notnotzecoxao : With SpecterDev 's presentation at HardwearIO on October 25th, people who encounter themselves on 1.xx and 2.xx (this also means people with a testkit and a devkit,

since there was a leak from CD Projekt Red with pups a while ago) will be able to read and write kernel .text region, thus allowing them to fully dump all kernel binaries from 1.00 to 2.70 firmwares, which can then be used for a proper HEN that does not rely on hooks and parasites as much as sleirs hen does.

However, defeating a53io will remain a goal to be achieved for the devs, so no native ps5 package instalation until then.

Additionally, things like custom syscall 11 will be possible, and they will allow you to jailbreak those systems much easier than before, where a request would have to be sent first.

Instead of all that, just calling a custom syscall for unjailing your system will solve the issue

💉 notnotzecoxao : ok so for those of you who still don't believe this is a real kernel exploit, there was an encrypted message posted a couple months ago.

the key was posted on April 1st and it allowed to decrypt the message, which was a PoC to the aio exploit. it is currently being implemented in lua, and it can effectively be implemented in webkit to bypass 9.00 pendrive usage altogether.

it works on both ps4 and ps5 and also on both ps4 and ps5 it was patched on the most recent firmware possible, so you will not get a better kernel exploit than this one for quite a while
