Over 90 rockets were fired this morning (Saturday) from Gaza, targeting Israeli civilians in villages and towns across Southern Israel.

Israel will exercise its right to defend its citizens from this aggression.

Tens of thousands of Israelis living in Southern Israel are under an ongoing terror attack from Gaza since the morning hours, as over 100 rockets were fired at Israeli towns and villages by terrorists in Gaza.

Israeli civilians have been under massive rocket fire from Gaza, as terror groups target women, men & children.

Israel is defending its citizens & calls on the international community to fiercely condemn the rocket fire by Gaza terror groups.

2 days under attack:
3 civilians killed, 91 injured and hundreds of thousands in shelters.

Unequivocally condemning Hamas's & Islamic Jihad's attacks against Israeli civilians is essential.

We thank all countries who have already done so, and call upon all other friendly nations to follow-suit and condemn Palestinian terror against Israelis.

The MFA wishes all Muslims in Israel, the Middle East and around the world celebrating the Ramadan, a blessed holiday and a year of prosperity and good health.

This evening and tomorrow, Israel marks Memorial Day, a day when Israeli society comes together to mourn the thousands of soldiers who have fallen protecting the State and guaranteeing its existence, as well as the thousands of civilian victims of terror.

Another dimension of the nation's story of loss is that of the diplomats and official representatives whose lives were taken while serving the country abroad.

Today, the Ministry held a moving ceremony to honor to honor the legacy of its sixteen diplomats who fell while on service.

Over the last week, Iran both withdrew from some of its JCPOA commitments, and was reported to have quadrupled the enrichment rate of low enriched uranium.

Iran is speeding up its pace towards achieving nuclear weapons. The International Community must collectively be conscious of the existential threat Iran poses to countries in the Middle East and beyond, and work together to bar the Iranian Ayatullahs regime's attempts to get hold of this dangerous weapon.
