Qirat Night 10
Sat, 22.07.2023
The #Qirat Night series has become a regular feature in Port Elizabeth over the last five years. It offers a chance to the future Huffaz to read in masjids across the city without the pressure of competition.
The attendance at each recital has been phenomenal with well over 1,300 people attending the ten editions. 192 recitals of the Noble #Quran have enriched the book of deeds of the reciters, their parents, teachers, and the founders and committees of the ten Masjids.
Each edition is open to all #Hifz classes in the city.
The latest edition was no different. The new Masjid in the growing Parsons Ridge suburb played host to the event on Sat, 22 July 2023. Masjid Maseeh in Parsons Ridge, saw over 100 people attend the recitals.
17 students from 8 Hifz classes recited. They were treated to personalised gifts and chocolates and chips as a motivation. Moulana Luqmaan Adams was the MC for the evening.
The events are held at different masjids to allow participants the opportunity of developing confidence in new environments, and to create an atmosphere of blessing across the city.
