📌 Moscow, IRNA – The head of the Shia Religious Affairs Organization in Moscow says sincerity and simplicity were among features that made martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei distinct from others.

In an interview with IRNA in Moscow, on the occasion of the 40th day of the martyrdom of Iran;s Leader during the US-Israeli aggression, Famel Jaafarov shed light on the personality of Ayatollah Khamenei.

Noting that the late Iranian Leader was a scholar and a person committed to his religious belief, Jaafarov said Ayatollah Khamenei's martyrdom revealed many realities, including his simplicity and other qualities that are not found in other world leaders.
​
He reminded that Ayatollah Khamenei, not only played a significant role in the victory of the Islamic Revolution and endured suffering of imprisonment, but he also served the country as President and was present on the battlefield during the imposed war in the 1980s.
​
The Russia cleric stated that it was under Iran's Leader and his guidance that led to vanishing of Daesh terrorist group in Iraq and Syria, and neutralizing US-Israeli divisive plot in the entire region.
​
He also referred to Iran's responses to American terrorist attacks at various times, saying no country in recent decades has had the guts to confront the US aggression with retaliatory attack on its military bases.
​
The head of the Shia Religious Affairs Organization in Moscow, while recalling Ayatollah Khamenei's special focus on the unity and closeness of Islamic ummah, said he had emphasized in numerous speeches that all Islamic faith should be united, form one nation, and confront their real enemy.

Pointing to Ayatollah Khamenei's fight for freedom and against oppression, Jaafarov also highlighted the martyred leader's role in awakening the nations against the divisive efforts of imperialism.

🔻 Iran will never leave Lebanese nation alone: President

📌 Tehran, IRNA –President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated Iran's firm support for Lebanon, warning that the continued Israeli attacks on the Arab country not only violate the initial ceasefire understanding, but also threaten diplomatic efforts.

In a message posted on his X account on Thursday, Pezeshkian said the Israeli regime’s renewed aggression against Lebanon represents a clear violation of the initial ceasefire agreement.

Calling the Israeli action "a dangerous sign of deception and a lack of commitment to potential agreements", the President wrote his post that the continuation of such acts would render negotiations "meaningless" and undermine diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions.

Pezeshkian also emphasized Iran’s continued support for Lebanon, saying the Islamic Republic will never abandon its Lebanese brothers and sisters.
​
His remarks come after Israel carried out widespread indiscriminate attacks on Lebanon, hours after US President Donald Trump agreed to 10-point Iranian proposal that also specifically included an end to aggression against Lebanon and the resistance front, including Hezbollah.

Iranian officials have repeatedly stated that Lebanon is included in the ceasefire, warning about the consequences of any violation of the agreed points. They have also informed Pakistani officials, who mediated the ceasefire, about the Israeli breach.
​
Tensions escalated after a joint US‑Israeli invasion of Iran on February 28, 2026 amidst indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington. On the first day of aggression, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, along with a number of senior commanders, as well as hundreds of civilians, including school children were martyred.

Iran responded with strikes on Israeli positions and US military bases in the region, citing its right to self‑defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

"Lebanon and the entire Resistance Axis, as Iran’s allies, form an inseparable part of the ceasefire," Ghalibaf wrote on his X network on Thursday, referring to Washington's acceptance of Tehran's 10-point proposals as part of the truce.

He also stated the remarks of the Pakistani premier about the agreed points in the ceasefire agreement, emphasizing that “PM Shehbaz Sharif publicly and clearly stressed the Lebanon issue; there is no room for denial and backtracking.”

"Extinguish the fire immediately,” Ghalibaf referred to the continued Israeli bloodshed in Lebanon, further warning that “Ceasefire violations carry explicit costs and STRONG responses."

The two-week ceasefire between Iran and the United States, mediated by Pakistan, came on Wednesday after 40 days of unprovoked US-Israeli war of aggression on the Islamic Republic.

🌍 Iran urges creation of int’l compensation fund for victims of sanctions

📌 London, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations office in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, has called for the establishment of an international compensation fund to address losses suffered by governments and populations during unilateral sanctions.

Speaking at the Second International Conference on Unilateral Coercive Measures (UCMs), in Geneva on Thursday, Bahreini condemned unilateral sanctions measure of some countries, calling it a tool of pressure and destabilization.

He stressed the need for practical measures by the world body to create a compensation mechanism, emphasizing that such a framework must obligate sanction‑imposing states to pay reparations to affected countries.

Bahreini also highlighted the importance of developing independent banking systems, expanding the use of national currencies, and strengthening regional economic cooperation to safeguard critical infrastructure from sanctions‑related disruptions.

Describing unilateral sanctions as facilitators of aggression and instruments to weaken states ahead of potential hostile actions, he termed them as “economic terrorism” and the first step in an inhumane strategy.

The senior diplomat noted that Iran’s resilience, through domestic capabilities and scientific advances, has undermined the logic of sanctions, insecurity, and war.

Bahreini further criticized humanitarian exemptions as legal theatrics, arguing that fear of secondary sanctions renders them ineffective.

Al-Houthi made the remarks on Thursday, hailing the Iranian Armed Forces and regional resistance groups, including Lebanon's Hezbollah for giving a crushing response to aggressors.

He said Hezbollah's performance was very effective, and the speed of its operations and the level of its endurance took the enemies by surprise.

The Ansarullah leader also emphasized the role of Islamic resistance groups in Iraq, saying that their equation of unity became evident from the very first moment of aggression against Iran.

The Yemeni front also participated in joint operations with the axis by carrying out missile and drone attacks against the Israeli enemy, and preventing the Israeli and American enemy from using the Red Sea militarily in hostile operations against Iran, he added.

🎙 Iran criticizes UN inaction on US-Israeli aggression

📌 Tehran, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi has met with the special envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, who is in the region to support efforts toward lasting peace.

Gharibabadi, in the meeting with Jean Arnault on Thursday, described the military aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran as a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Criticizing the UN for not condemning the aggression, not making efforts to stop it, and not holding the aggressors accountable, he said the unprovoked war on Iran killed and wounded thousands of innocent people.
​
He said that the destruction of residential homes, hospitals, schools, historical and cultural sites, and critical infrastructure were clear examples of crimes against humanity and war crimes but the US and Israel took pride in their crimes, including the slaughter of children.
​
The deputy foreign minister, also criticized Persian Gulf countries for allowing to the US to use their territory, including military bases, in the attacks on Iran, calling them complicit in this aggression.

Gharibabadi, referring to the defeat of the enemies and the resistance and steadfastness of Iranians in this imposed war, said the Islamic Republic is completely opposed to any temporary settlement of the situation that repeats the cycle of negotiations, war, and ceasefire.

The UN official, for his part, stated that the ultimate goal of the United Nations currently is to achieve a sustainable agreement and settlement that encompasses all aspects of the crisis.
