Appeal for Emergency Student Relief Fund
Dear Community,
We are reaching out with an urgent appeal to support students in our community who are experiencing severe financial hardship due to recent immigration-related challenges that have affected their ability to continue their education and support themselves.
Many students holding a valid immigration statusare struggling to afford basic necessities such as rent, food, utilities, and transportation, while others are finding it difficult to keep up with tuition payments. Without assistance, some may be forced to interrupt their education.
We ask for your help. Your tax-deductible donation, regardless of the amount, will provide emergency assistance to eligible students facing these unexpected challenges. Every contribution will help offer hope, stability, and the opportunity for these students to continue pursuing their educational goals.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these young scholars. Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and continued support of our community.

Dear Members of the Iranian-American Community,

The Iranian Association of Boston (IAB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mohammed Fotouhi as the new President of IAB.

Following IAB’s announcement of vacant officer positions, Shora received Mr. Fotouhi’s candidacy for the position of President. After meeting with him and considering his qualifications, vision, and commitment to IAB’s mission, Shora unanimously voted to approve his nomination and appoint him as President of the Iranian Association of Boston, effective immediately.

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Fotouhi, a long-standing member and supporter of IAB, to this leadership position. His long standing connection to the organization, commitment to our community, and dedication to IAB’s mission will be valuable as we continue to strengthen and advance the organization.

Shora would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to our outgoing President, Mr. Saeed Shafiyan Rad, for his efforts, dedication, and service to IAB over the past two years. We gratefully acknowledge his wholehearted commitment to IAB’s mission and the significant time and energy he has devoted to the organization and our community.

Sincerely, IAB Shora (Council) Iranian Association of Boston
