All the ongoing food safety raids and the discoveries from it tells me two things:

1️⃣ Never eat outside. Not even from reputed places.

2️⃣ In case there is no way to skip point 1 - only eat vegetarian food without paneer.

Majority of Indians don't yet realise that GDP or GDP per capita of a country doesn't always have much relation with its stock market.

1️⃣ Allow food places to self-register for "Food Safety" scans.

2️⃣ Send people with body cams for "surprise" food raids at these places.

3️⃣ If food safety is maintained as per FSSAI standards - give a green check mark to these places on app.

4️⃣ Allow people to pay little extra like ₹5 to filter & buy from these places.

Your revenue will increase. These hotels will get more orders. People will get hygienic food. Win win for all.

If you work at Zomato or Swiggy, pass this idea on to your seniors.
