During the same time Nifty 500 is up nearly 160%

In short, if you can’t spend hours studying and timing these things - simply invest in mutual funds and focus rest of the time in increasing income.

“Return after time spent” is a better metric to track than just “return”.

Mr. A got 16% annual return after spending 800-1000 hours a year in charts, business reports etc.

Mr. B got 14% annual return by spending 10-12 hours a year in mutual funds.

More AMCs → More active mutual funds chasing the same alpha → Alpha is like arbitrage, more people chasing it actually reduces it → Alpha disappears for majority of funds

⚡️ HDFC Mutual Fund has filed papers with SEBI for BSE REITS and Commercial Real Estate Index Fund.

This index currently has 13 allocations, out of which 6 are REITs.

Some index info:
1. REITs or “Residential, Commercial Projects” companies within the BSE 1000 universe having rental income more than 10% of their total revenue can be included in this index.
2. Allocation to each is capped at 20%
3. Fast-Tracked IPOs can be included if certain criteria are met.
