Many don't know that other than 80C, you can reduce your income tax slab by another ₹50k through investing in National Pension System (NPS).

80C (EPF, Term Insurance, ELSS) = ₹1,50,000
80CCD (NPS) = ₹50,000

There are more restrictions in case of NPS but in total you can lower your tax slab by ₹2 lakh with them.

🇮🇳 India's Central Bank continues to buy gold.

The latest data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) shows that in Oct 2022 its gold reserves increased by about 1t.

YTD net purchase = 32t.
Total gold reserves = 786t.

Note: Most of this gold is not inside Indian territory. RBI mostly stores it in London's bunkers which are notorious for not returning gold to its real owners.

In 2022, being an Sovereign Individual isn't a luxury, it is a necessity.
National Pension System (NPS)

Let's say you're 28.
You invest ₹4200/month in an NPS fund till you're 60 years of age.

Once you're 60,
You get ~₹90 lakh lump sum return.
And ~₹30,000 monthly pension forever.

₹4200 you're paying now can be claimed in ITR (₹50k total). Also, the ₹90 lakh maturity amount is fully tax-free.

I personally think it is better to buy five 1g gold coins than one 5g coin, even if I have to pay a bit more premium.

As in worst case, if I have to use it in future - I can give someone one 1g coin in return for a service and still have 4g left.

Can't do that with a 5g coin.

Don't forget he is the same person who predicted that Paytm's stock price will crash in an iconic call on listing day.

JFS is led by Govt/RBI close ally KV Kamath. He is the same person who scaled ICICI's business.

Spend at least 20% of your time with people who are at least 10 years older than you (preferably not family members).

You’ll bring them vision & energy.
They’ll give you wisdom & opportunities.

HR is not there for the benefit of the employees.

They are there to limit the liability of the employer.

That's by design and very few understand this.

In a salaried world,

Raises and Promotions are NOT given to the employees who work the hardest. They are given by management to those they KNOW and LIKE.

If you are a salaried individual, best way to increase your salary is to be 'known' & 'liked'.

Set aside atleast 5% of your monthly income (after taxes) and put it in a bank account called "Enjoyment Fund".

Don’t invest it ₹ ₹ ₹.

Spend it recklessly on experiences & things you want to do for personal enjoyment, and don't make yourself justify that spending.
