BREAKING (moneycontrol): Zerodha to launch their own AMC soon.

Zerodha will launch their Asset Management Company (AMC) within 3 months of final approval from authorities. They have almost completed all the formalities.

CEO Nithin Kamath didn't give an exact timeline but confirmed that they will only launch Index Funds.

People mainly started avoiding SMS & moved to WhatsApp as it is free, comparatively more privacy with no spam from companies & only personal messages.

Now Flipkart, HDFC Bank, PolicyBazaar etc. - whichever companies have my WhatsApp number spams me day & night; kinda SMS vibes.

Good chance for Telegram, Signal to keep eating WhatsApp's market-share.

As I keep saying, replacing carbohydrates with proteins might be one of the biggest healthcare improvements in India.

People often ask me when we will see ELSS Index Funds (for tax saving), as SEBI has already allowed creation of such products.

Problem is - SEBI didn't allow one AMC to provide both ELSS Index & Mutual Fund.

All popular AMCs like HDFC, UTI etc. already have their ELSS Mutual Funds, so they can't really launch it. Hope is if new AMCs coming up like Zerodha (maybe) launches it - but still not anytime soon.

BREAKING (Economic Times): Brazil bans Apple (AAPL).

Brazil's Justice Ministry has fined $2.38 million and has suspended sales of all iPhone models that do not come with a power charger.

Brazil Govt says this is Apple's "deliberate discriminatory practice against consumers". Earlier others have also accused Apple of using "Environmental Excuses" to not provide essential items like charger with their phones & in-turn charge massive fees to sell that same charger to that same customer.

To put that into perspective, Reliance's PE is currently at 27.2

People are ready to pay ₹400-₹700 for every ₹1 Adani makes. Just saying.

Was discussing (especially with women) about Nykaa & why they use it. Almost all had similar points

• Delivery is sometimes faster than Flipkart or Amazon.

• Brands there can be trusted, as Nykaa directly sources the products. Anyone can't just sell on Nykaa.
