Money ₹ ₹ ₹ buys freedom.
Freedom buys happiness.

Best thing rich people did is convince poor people that money isn't happiness.

Am not saying money is the "only" thing that will bring you happiness, but money solves 90% of the problems which will ultimately bring you happiness.

As far as I have read,

ITC (ITC) results look good - Agriculture Revenue is more than Cigarette this time.

Zomato (ZOMATO) results look decent - Food delivery segment has broken even for the 1st time. Revenue up, loss down.

BREAKING (ZeroHedge): Panama announces price controls.

🇵🇦 To stop massive inflation protests across Panama, Govt has fixed the prices of 72 food items. No company can sell these items at a rate higher than what Govt says, even if the cost of production for these items are higher than the selling price set by Govt.

Every single Govt in history that tried "price controls" failed miserably as either companies stops selling products at loss, this leads to higher real prices as no supply; or the companies start to collapse due to high losses/debt.

Their goal is to lower your standard of living.
Crude Oil down below $90. Basically, it is back to the pre-war (Russia-Ukraine) level.

Oil going down has always been a great trigger, specially for the Indian Economy to expand faster & further 🇮🇳 🚀

In 2010, LinkedIn did $243 million in revenue.

Went public in 2011 and did $522 million in revenue.

In 2016, Microsoft (MSFT) acquired the business for $26.2 billion.

In last 12 months, it did $13.8 billion in revenue. So basically MSFT acquired Linkedin for less than 2X current revenue. In my opinion, a pretty good deal.

In my opinion, Europe will face the worse situation in the global economic slowdown.

For now, better to avoid stocks that have significant exposure to the European market.

Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 fighting Armenia 🇦🇲.

Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, Bangladesh 🇧🇩, Pakistan 🇵🇰 etc. collapsing.

Out of most economies; only few like India, Indonesia are not busy with unproductive things.

Indian Govt should totally focus on attracting businesses. It will be a game-changer for Indians. This is India's time 🇮🇳

A salaried man is not a free man.

A salaried man is not an independent man.
At this point, people leaving some Asian nations like India to relocate to Europe are either super stupid or super wealthy.

99% fall in "super stupid" category.

Why would you move from a place with highest chances of wealth creation to a place where half of your income goes into fuel, you pay unnecessarily high tax and follow stupid laws.

Headline: Berkshire Hathaway posts massive $43.8 bln loss.

This is actually NOT TRUE. It is an accounting issue that even Michael Saylor faces with his bitcoin holding.

If Buffett doesn't sell his Apple stock but Apple is down 31%, the "Unrealised Loss" also needs to be reported as "Loss" in Earnings Report.

Let's see an example,

MSTR's profit is $10
MSTR's bitcoin reserve sits at $15 UNREALISED loss (not sold yet)

In financial report, they have to put it that MicroStrategy made a loss of $5 (10-15). Even if that isn't technically "loss" as they didn't sell it yet.

If you don't learn accounting processes before doing direct stock investments, you will get scared by this type of headlines.

Mr. B earns ₹8 lakh per year from 3 sources (including salary)

I would rather be Mr. B than Mr. A

Added more HDFC Bank (HDFCBANK) today.
Reliance invested ₹30,000 crore in FY22 for its retail business.

Retail business added 2500 stores & over 1.50 lakh jobs. Basically, Reliance opened 7 new stores every single day in FY22.

The real alpha here is - I think Ambani will use these stores as e-commerce distribution centres. Quick delivery disruption by Reliance?
