I woke up this morning thinking I would not do my routine today β€”- that I would rest from yesterday. But I can't bear not to do it. I want to do it. I have a different routine to help my brain grok this morning. I love the rhythm of being active as my body slowly reconditions itself to more regular activity. The body wants to move. The greatest and most important challenge is in facilitating the increasingly familiar movement practices of the body at the most gradual possible pace, the pace that allows for best stability, resilience, and learning. Even more incremental. Even more gradual. How about this small part, does the body know this well? Even more, let's slow down. Every movement can be centered in breath; every movement can be profoundly grounded.
