Hello, friends!

We are seeking guests from all walks of life, diverse lived experiences, or professional expertise to speak to grade school children about how to learn a skill.

We plan to practice together too!

We are arranging learning visits at our school location, by field trip to other locations, and through recordings shared virtually on the Internet.

We are especially interested in learning from SCOUTS and from artists, storytellers, and experts who know about:

Water and Regenerative Living
Growing Food and Medicine
Self care and Wellness
Swimming and first aid
Safety and self defense
Sewing Textiles
Building and Repairing
Auto Mechanics
The Arts and Self Expression
Peacemaking

Please suggest to us a subject you are familiar with that you could share to help our classmates learn new, meaningful, activating skills that can grow with them as they continue to learn and achieve in their lives.

Reach out to t.me/MaraBird on Telegram to connect and make a plan with us!

Thank you for bringing your strength and knowledge to support our young community members!

We are their village.

"The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. . . It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane."

Spring Cleaning: Eco-Friendly Products for Green Home Living

At the dawn of the 21st century, the need for eco-friendly cleaning alternatives has become more urgent than ever before. As more people understand the impact of cleaning products on our health and the environment, we must embrace a more sustainable approach to cleaning. Not only are eco-friendly cleaning solutions safer for our health and our planet, but they’re also cost-effective in the long run.

It is a valuable game to notice when a document is becoming most clear and actionable.

A seminar document in the Intuitive network often takes the form of a Telegram channel or chat.

This is also the case for our co-facilitated classes, workshops, and Intuitive group coordination efforts.

We compile learning materials as we work together and support one another; then we refer to these materials and iterate them for publishing.

These living documents β€” the Telegram spaces! β€” are experienced as our own living books as we write ourselves forward into our near and long term futures.

Often, we know these living documents are not yet complete enough to be amplified more widely.

You may notice, however, that a particular document is becoming full with a perfect complement of information to help more others understand the content.

When one of us notices this, we call it out.

Exciting things happen next.

For those who would like more information, here are some helpful keys:

(1) Physical harm from poisoning through environmental toxicity like the products described in the above image, (2) other forms of physical trauma, and (3) starvation through nutrient mineral deficiency in industrial food sources...

...are frequently mischaracterized as inappropriate behavior or character flaws.

All of these can be invisible, and in all these cases, professional industries have seeded doubt in public research because it makes those industries money.

That means that a lot of people who talk about these subjects (especially many professionals in healthcare) are also miseducated about these subjects.

All these vectors have effects on the body that change the way someone can interact or express themselves.

Many people lose the ability to communicate because of the items on this list.

It's important for us to support communications repair for talking directly to survivors of these forms of illness and injury in order to learn more about what they need and include them in community support in the best possible ways.

Usually the things people think should be done are things that survivors need direct assistance with in order to achieve.

We can all help one another powerfully.

Intuitive network coordinates resources to aid communities in learning to support survivors of environmental poisoning.

Everyone is invited to join us in making those resources more accessible to our friends and loved ones who are severely affected -- and those who aren't yet severely affected, who can avoid having that terrible experience.

Our daily practice is to help one another build safety and care for these circumstances into all family and community resourcing.

We are all stronger together.

Comment to be involved or reach out by email to grow@intuitive.community.

Thank you for reading and sharing.

from stefanie l. kaufman mthimkhulu, posted to twitter on Jul 15:

We need to offer ways to get support in community that do not require us to first build community. Being a known, loved, present, valued, or respected person in community should not be a prerequisite for receiving care.

I say this because people talk about building community like it’s easy, something that indicates morality, something we all have time for/can do, something that if you do a good job and do it right you will always have care and love and support within reach. Really not true.

@ people saying you don’t deserve community if you put no effort into building it - y’all will die on the hill of transactional care + labor!! Some Disabled people need constant care & we give less than we receive but we still deserve all of it. It’s not balancing an equation.

By the way, I think building community is critical, a way of life, & is part of our necessary work as humans. My point is that under our current conditions, the labor (and love) of building community should not be required first in order to receive care outside the state.

Ex: Many folks turn to pod mapping during times of crisis to activate their pod and avoid unwanted or carceral responses. You need to know the people in your pod and be in relationship with them, be in community. AND we know that many folks have no one or 1 person in their pod.

Should the people who have no one in their pod not receive compassionate, anti-carceral care in community? Are they required to first build relationships so they can access care outside of the state? I would hope not, because so many of our most targeted and marginalized cannot.
