Q. How has Intuitive community changed your outcomes in caregiving?

Max writes:

I am a severely disabled survivor of severe trauma.

Most public support resources exclude me — they don't know what to do with me.

Countless services and organizations have had no answer for me when I ask them what to do — for myself, my family, and for many others.

Survivors like me and families like mine need effective communications support and practical resource assistance in order to solve problems, stabilize, and recover health after trauma.

Because of the many, diverse, and unique challenges that emerge from compounded trauma, situational solutions are crucial to success for suffering families and communities.

Without the resources Intuitive has shared, my family and I could not communicate or survive together. This meant brutal additional pain, confusion, fear, stress, and illness for all of us until recently, especially because I am not the only severely disabled person in my immediate family.

After many years of threat to life and health, and of my mother struggling as caregiver for both my and my father's very different, complex health challenges, we have new and better strategies for supporting one another effectively.

These strategies are working for us now even in the most chaotic (scary, messy, challenging) circumstances.

Intuitive provides coordination support that allows me to help care for my parents, helps others support my needs, and helps us rebuild healthy environments for our families and communities.

Our connection to Intuitive prevents further trauma, caregiver burnout, and premature death.

Intuitive helps us to address painful, scary, or complicated subjects more easily, aids us in problemsolving, and helps us to more successfully meet our needs.

We're healthier every day because of this, and deeply grateful.

"Hello! I am working on a community project called FRIENDS WITH CARS. We are reaching out to find every person in every neighborhood who wants to be a Friend with a Car to others who need friends with cars.
Many existing vehicles are not cared for or kept in working order for lack of community support; when we bring support from the community, we have many more vehicles to use to support and protect our community. In addition, we honor and preserve the resources that brought those cars to us in the first place by sustaining their function and service in our spaces.
There are so many great ways to safeguard and nourish your community when you have access to a vehicle! You can help get safe food and safe water to a location, as well as emergency supplies and other kinds of assistance. You can help transport community resources, or you can facilitate travel options for people in the community who need supported routes between point A and point B.
If you have access to a vehicle, you can do much better than being abusively underpaid by an extractivist conglomerate. You can build relationships and regenerative resource projects that restore health and strength for your communities! You can ensure that every member of your community can be safe from violence and connected to inclusive resourcing.

How can I build a thriving, successful life for myself and my family by ensuring safety, kindness, and inclusive resourcing to all members of my community?
This means no more trafficking violence, and no more survivors navigating isolation and invisibility in the midst of their friends and neighbors.
This means no need to accept gifts from people willing to allow or perpetuate violence upon others.
This means no need to accept paychecks from organizations that anchor themselves painfully in moral gray areas or fail to acknowledge or address the voices of those harmed by their practices.
This means everyone is welcome, and we learn from one another's languages.
Every day we achieve new levels of strength in commitment to respecting all living beings and the sacred land of our environments.
Our challenges become more nutritive
We move with greater confidence
Our strength grows surely with our character of caring, integrity, clarity, vividness, confidence
We choose to use money in ways that regenerate loving life energy
We work to facilitate every being's reach
To a feeling of belonging in the bosom of community
We do not tolerate exclusion and more and more find it utterly unnecessary
Because we are coming to know one another as members of the greater than human, naturally emergent cosmic panoply
This is a greater wealth, flow, currency
Than we were previously taught to perceive.
