Since last night, reports from Eastern Kurdistan have indicated intensified Iranian Revolutionary Guard military movements in the Piranshahr-Mahabad-Sardasht area, with IRGC forces reportedly attempting to approach PJAK/YRK areas. Two armed clashes were also…
The clashes in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan; Western Iran) have escalated over night.

The clashes escalated around Piranshahr and Sardasht - now 5 Kurdish factions are involved in the clashes.
5 Kurdish Peshmerga have been martyred during these clashes.

Expect a major escalation.
Iran has deployed large numbers of soldiers to the mountain areas around Sardasht, they will launch a military offensive soon.
In Piranshahr they will launch an offensive into the urban areas as well as the mountain areas.
In Mahabad the Iranian attack on the mountain areas continues and we expect them to launch raids into urban areas as well.

Ground sources are now regularly reporting an influx of Arabic speaking soldiers into Rojhelat from Iraq, entering through the border crossings east of Baghdad.

KCK on the Turkish state’s current legal framework for the PKK disarmament process:

“To say that such a law will be passed, and that its content will be this or that, without meeting and discussing with the Leadership and without taking our Movement’s views, is considered a game, an imposition, and even a conspiracy.”

“Neither Leader Apo nor our Freedom Movement will accept a fait accompli.”

KCK:

“Now, policies are almost being pursued as if preparing for a new war. MIT chief İbrahim Kalın is not acting only as the head of an intelligence organization, but is touring Iraq almost like the prime minister of the government.

Similar talks were previously held during the attack on Rojava. What is the MIT chief doing in Baghdad, Silêmanî and Hewlêr?

Are these forces being assigned certain roles in an attack and liquidation plan against our Freedom Movement?

Undoubtedly, the entire Kurdish people and political forces must be sensitive to such policies. Turkey’s statements should be seen as one-sided ideas that are not in the interests of Kurds.

Instead of solving its own internal problem, is Turkey planning an attack against our Freedom Movement together with Iraq after the Iraqi government’s decision regarding armed forces outside the army?

It is known that similar talks have also been held with Iran. If the Turkish state has such plans, we believe Iraq should not accept them.”

PJAK statement shows the latest clashes not a sign of a new Kurdish offensive:

"Throughout this period, our party's guerrilla forces have remained in a position of legitimate self-defense rather than offense. While preserving our right to self-defense, we intend to maintain this position and do not support the expansion of a broader regional war, because we believe the Islamic Republic seeks to use the pretext of war to legitimize its domestic repression."

Channel 8:

• Channel8 published the full text of a strategic political deal between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the New Generation Movement, aimed at reshaping power dynamics in the Kurdistan Region's government and parliament.

• The agreement outlines joint cooperation in the Kurdistan Parliament and Iraqi Council of Representatives, plus principles for forming the next Kurdistan Regional Government.

• Core governance pledges include transparent management of oil and non-oil revenues, a formal budget law under parliamentary oversight, and clear separation of legislative, executive, oversight, and judicial powers.

• It directly targets household finances with promises to restore some withheld salary savings for public employees, offer marriage loans, cut electricity and service costs, and reduce taxes and fees for tradespeople and small businesses.

• The deal also commits to pursuing jobs for graduates and resolving long-standing issues for teachers and contract employees.

• At the federal level, both parties will coordinate in Baghdad on Kurdistan's budget entitlements, disputed territories, and Peshmerga affairs to defend the region's constitutional rights.

• A joint committee will monitor implementation and conduct periodic progress reviews, with both sides calling it a step toward institutional balance, transparency, and public trust.

• This alignment between Bafel Jalal Talabani's PUK and the reform-oriented New Generation Movement comes amid unresolved talks on parliamentary reactivation and cabinet formation.

• Specific post-election goals include working in the next cabinet to restore salary savings, provide marriage loans, lower electricity prices, and create a civil service institution for employment.

• The agreement stresses drafting bills to improve living standards in health, education, services, taxes, and fees, while also aiming to form a government based on power balance and genuine partnership.
