[Machine Learning] The results of the last call (2026-02-10) can be found in the 2025-2026 Moodle page.
The handout of the final project can be found in the same Moodle page.
The interested students must submit the required documents 3 working days before the oral test that will take place on 25 February after the written test. The deadline is strict.
The students that will not submit the documents by that date will be considered as not interested in improving their mark. No exceptions.

The examination will consist of a written exam that will be held on 13th and 16th February in building SBA, in lab SBA-2-2, according to the timetable and lists provided.

The students in groups 5, 6, 7, and 8 who are also registered for the Physics 1 exam may move the Calculus 1 exam forward to February 13th at 9:00 a.m.  otherwise no changes to the assigned time slot are permitted. 

Please bring your valid personal Identity Document (preferably a passport), at least two large squared sheets for calculations, and a pen. Be prepared to provide your Student Number (matricola).

The use of smartphones during the test is prohibited.

Pocket calculators and formula are not allowed, but you may use the Calculator App available on the computer.

Students that are not registered on ESSE3, or students that will arrive later with respect to the indicate timetable or students without a valid personal Identity Document (screenshots or photos of the passport are not valid documents) will not be admitted to the test.

[Calculus 1] I have received many emails from students who have the Calculus 1 exam today and want to postpone it to Monday. It is not possible.

[Discrete Mathematics]
Dear Students,
The exam will be 20 of February at laboratories SBA-2-1 and SBA-2-2 from 13:45 on.

There will be 6 slots indicated by Groups A/B/C/D/E/F. The Groups A, B and C are in the laboratory SBA-2-1. The Groups D, E and F are in the laboratory SBA-2-2. The starting time for each group is respectively
A and D) 13:45,
B and E) 15:05,
C and F) 16:25.

Attached to this message are the names of the students with a group id.
It is FUNDAMENTAL to know your group and the time scheduled to access the laboratory. It is not possible to exchange the group.
Namely, it is fundamental to RESPECT the time schedule. When the door is closed NO ONE can enter during the exam!
I remember that the students that already passed the exam CANNOT improve their score, since it is already recorded.
Moreover, the students that failed the last exam MUST wait for the call of June.
Other important information on the exam are in the mail that I'll send to you.

[Programming] - The exams scheduled for 17 February 2026 will start at 09:00am (room SBA-2-2).
Here enclosed the timetable. All students are invited to respect the times and classroom indicated.

[Machine Learning] Third call will take place on 25 February 2026.
Third year students will have their third call in the same date, they can use the partial exam (do not consider the dates therein reported). Booking for third year students will close on 19 February.

[Security] III Session Slot in February 2026, Exams on Security will be held on day 27, FEB 2026, at 09:00 CET in LAB2 (SBA-2-1) at II floor in SBA Building (in front of Refectory).

[Data Mining and Analysis] The exam will take place tomorrow at 11am on the second floor of SBA.

[Algoritmi e strutture dati] L'esame originariamente previsto per domani 18 febbraio si terrà venerdì 20 febbraio a partire dalle ore 9 in SBA-2-1.

[Computer Networks] The exam will be held on February 20 starting at 9AM in SBA-2-1. I'll send the roundtable tomorrow, when the subscription will be closed.

Some students informed me about the difficulties in finding the partial exam call on appunime. Search the call issuing the name of the professor, you will be showed two calls for Machine Learning (select the second one).

[Machine Learning] Students in their fourth year or older must (MUST) book the exam using the regular call.
Students in their third year ONLY must use another partial exam booking under Artificial Intelligence.
The partial exam booking under Machine Learning will be ignored.

[Data Mining and Analysis]: The first lecture for the new academic year will be held on February 25 (Wednesday).
