[Database - Data Analysis] The ongoing examination specifically reserved to students of the second year who attended the Database Mod. A class in 2025-2026 can be booked using the following web forms.

- January 21st, 2026 - 09:00 a.m. - Lab SBA-2-1.
The exam can be booked from January 17th, 2026, at 08:00 a.m. to January 19th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Students of previous academic years can book the exam through ESSE3 according to the dates reported there.
[Statistical Methods and Models]
The exam scheduled on 16/01/2026 will held on 21/01/2026 at 09:00. The classroom and the timetable will be published in the next days.
[Programming] The exam previously scheduled on 13/01/2026 will take place on 15/01/2026 in SBA Building (second floor, SBA-2-2)
In the next days, we will publish a detailed time schedule.

[Discrete Mathematics]
Dear Students,
The exam will be 16 of January at at laboratory SBA-2-2.
There will be 6 slots indicated by Groups A/B/C/D/E/F. The starting time for each group is respectively
A) 9:00,
B) 9:50,
C) 10:40,
D) 11:30,
E) 12:20,
F) 13:10.
Attached to this message are the names of the students with a group id (e.g. A1,...,A6,B1,...,B6 and so on).
It is FUNDAMENTAL to know your group id (e.g. C3), to access the laboratory. It is NOT possible to arrive LATE.
Other important informations on the exam are in the mail sent to you.

[Calculus 1] The examination will consist of a written exam that will be held in building SBA, second floor, in lab SBA-2-1, according to the timetable and lists provided in the attached file. Only students in the list will be admitted to the test and no changes to the assigned time slot are permitted. 
Please bring your valid personal Identity Document (preferably a passport), at least two large squared sheets for calculations, and a pen. 
The use of smartphones during the test is prohibited.
Pocket calculators and formula are not allowed, but you may use the Calculator App available on the computer.
 
Students that are not in the esse3 list, or students that will arrive later with respect to the indicate timetable or students without a valid personal Identity Document (screenshots or photos of the passport are not valid documents) will not be admitted to the test.

[Calculus 1] Students who have Calculus 1 exams today can arrive 2h earlier, so if there is space in the classroom, they can take the exam early

[Programming] - The exams scheduled for 15 January 2026 will start at 08:30am (room SBA-2-2). Here enclosed the timetable. All students are invited to respect the times and classroom indicated.
[Data Modeling] Students are informed that a communication regarding the assignment submission on the course’s e‑learning platform and the January–February exam session have been sent via email and then it will be published on the course e‑learning page.

[Machine Learning] Third-year students (and only third-year students) willing to book the exam that will take place on 20 January 2026 are invited to use the following link to book the exam.

The link will be valid until 18 January (no exceptions).
Starting in academic year 2025-2026, Machine Learning is the first module of the course named Artificial Intelligence together with Data Mining and Analytics. Therefore the official exams will take place only starting in June 2026.
Third-year students (and only them) can use this form to book the exam.
Second and third calls will follow similar tools that will be published in due time.

[Algorithms and Data Structures] Find enclosed the results of today written test. The students with "Oral" on their records are summoned on Monday 19 at 09:30 at the second floor of the SBA building for the oral (mandatory) test.
[Calculus 1] The results of the exam on January 13 and 14 have been posted on esse3. Students can review their exam on the 20th at 11:00 in my office, near the Aula Magna

[Discrete Mathematics]
Dear students,
here are the results of the students that passed the exam. I remember that the students that failed this exam can retry it on the last call of February.
It is not possible to retake the exam to improve the results, as I told during the lectures, by email on esse3 and during the exams, too!!

Dear Students,

This is to remind you that the written exam for the Data Modeling course will take place tomorrow, January 19, 2026, in the SBA-2-1 Computer Lab (SBA building, 2nd floor, room 1).

Here, you can find attached:
- the exam schedule, indicating the time slot assigned to each student;
- a set of instructions on how to carry out the exam, which we will review and comment on together in the classroom before the beginning of the session.

Please note that dedicated passwords and ad-hoc credentials required for completing the exam will be delivered directly in the classroom.

The written exam will consist of:
- multiple-choice questions, and
- Python coding exercises,
covering the topics addressed throughout the course.

As reported in the official course description (see the Verification of learning section here:
https://unime.coursecatalogue.cineca.it/corsi/2023/10047/insegnamenti/2025/13141/2020/2?coorte=2023&schemaid=13390), the written exam is mandatory, and it is considered passed with a minimum grade of 18/30. The oral exam is optional.

Please make sure to arrive on time for your assigned slot.
