Agents are reporting that the Daily Bounties that are getting assigned to them have their rewards changed and mostly nerfed with less rewards and more common items. This change was announced by Niantic about a month ago during the announcement of the Field Test: Dispatch and has now been implemented. Medals for sale during Erased Memories have been revealed, including three new medals and the first open sale of the Klue 2016 badge which was previously only available through special Niantic drops (NL-1331, Anomaly dead drops etc.)

The Erased Memories: Global Challenge is now visible on the Dispatch menu, giving us a first look at the design of the potential medal!
The description text of the Second Sunday event was also changed to indicate that it'll use Dispatch Bounties in the future instead of completing 6 Missions.

As we approach the end of the year - there are a lot of holidays in addition to the Ingress events happening. For those that create banners, I suspect things will take longer to process due to the amount of banners being submitted for holidays and events. The Event tab on the Intel map has gotten a small update with a new background image, showing a new NIA logo. The source code itself was also modified and shows that events shown will include First Saturdays, Second Sundays and 2sDays. At the moment though the tab itself is still not active.

As a small update, the Wayfarer Challenge is "right around the corner" and will be focusing on Edit contributions. To clarify, that does not mean to review, but to submit edits during the challenge.
Edits include changes to titles, descriptions, locations and adding new pictures. Take a look around your area and take note of any Wayspots that need updating or which you can submit new pictures to once the challenge starts!

SPEED has also just been revealed! This Glyph will not only appear in Glyph Sequences but also act as a Glyph Command before seeing the Glyphs. At the moment it does not seem to be active yet however.
