Since the start of today, Agents have been reporting that Daily Bounties are currently not working as intended, with many indicating that the Research Milestones are marked as completed but only some bounties can be redeemed, the rest of the page remaining unresponsive.

No update on the matter has been released as of now. We forecast that the issue will be solved as Monday rolls in in the Americas.

The issue with Daily Bounties not progressing has now been improved, but some Agents may not be able to claim their milestone rewards (the 2 rewards for claiming 4/4 Daily Bounties at the top of the DAILY tab) until the DAILY tab is reset tomorrow (local time).

As with the Valentines Day 2022 medal a few days ago, earlier today the Toast Day 2022 medal was also relocked and a single "5" tier was added to it. The medal has since been unlocked again, but the single tier is still visible.

With Toast Day coming up at the end of the month and the Valentines Day 2022 getting the Redux treatment it's very likely that a Toast Day 2022 Redux Campaign is also planned for an as of yet unannounced Toast Day 2026 event, which would allow you once again to either earn the medal for the first time or get Recursion wings for it.

We identified an issue that continued to impact some Agents' Daily Bounties progression, and we pushed an update this afternoon PST that should now re-enable individual Daily Bounty tasks. However, some Agents still may not be able to claim their milestone rewards at the top of the DAILY tab until the DAILY tab is reset tomorrow (local time).

Due to the issues with the daily Bounties a few days ago you can now claim a free pack of items that also includes a free 3-Day Bounty Pass so you can get your profile stats back in order!

As a token of our apology for the Daily Bounties issues that started Feb 8 (PST), we've added a Free 3-Day Bounty Pass Loadout to the Store, which immediately grants the Bounty Pass with 4 additional Daily Bounties per day for 3 days upon claiming. The Loadout will be available until the end of the day Mon Feb 16 (PST).

Additionally, we are returning the 2x AP boosts to First Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (local time). On next month's First Saturday on Sat Mar 7, however, we will be running a 3x AP boost. With Apex active, this means a combined 6x AP boost. Thank you, and hack the planet.

🍞 As theorized by Agents after noting their Toast Day 2022 medal now shows a single tier, this years Toast Day will once again see a celebration!

From February 26th, 18:00 UTC to March 9th, 18:00 UTC, two Campaigns will be available:

- Toast Day 2026 Campaign (Free)
A free Campaign which you can restart after finishing, awarding you "generous amounts of Toast Beacons"

- Toast Day 2022 Redux (Paid)
A Redux Campaign allowing you to either earn the Toast Day 2022 medal if you do not already own it or to earn Recursion wings for it by completing 4 out of 5 Bounties

The exact details of each Campaign are not known and we don't know yet if there will be some other, global bonuses active during this period as well. We will keep you updated as always!

Ahead of the Toast Day starting tomorrow Agents are reporting that the Toast Glyph has already invaded the Portal Network and Glyph Hacks can now include sequences with and around the Toast Glyph!

Niantic Spatial has released Update 3.5.1 yesterday!

The Release Notes mention two fixes: One quite old bug in which Ingress would take over the audio priority of the device and pause any currently playing audio was fixed, and a newer bug in which medals that got the Redux treatment show a single tier in their details was also fixed.

Additionally, while not mentioned, the description box while nominating new Portals can now be filled with 512 characters again. The update prior to this one limited the box to just 250 characters, halving the available space.

Two new Campaigns are inbound!

Running for a full month, the Bad Cat and Good Cat Campaigns will need you to complete 3 out of 5 Bounties to unlock the new Bad Cat 2026 and Good Cat 2026 Medals respectively. Going by the description of these Campaigns, the Bad Cat Campaign is focused on destroying stuff, while the Good Cat Campaign focuses on building things.

Both Campaigns will run from March 6th, 18:00 UTC to April 6th, 18:00 UTC.
