🎒Agents, GORUCK Events need you!

As many of you may know, each Anomaly weekend also hosts add-on events organized by GORUCK in collaboration with Ingress.
These events are competitive and feed directly into your faction's Anomaly score, so showing up actually moves the needle for the Resistance or the Enlightened.

Beyond the faction points, though, this is your chance to push past what you thought you could do. A rush of adrenaline that will change the way you see these competitions. Agents who've done it will remember the score, but they'll also remember what they proved to themselves and their fellow teammates.

🥷 GORUCK Stealth Ops - Played the night before the Anomaly. A mental and physical challenge in which Agents get to put their power and wit on the line for their Faction.
🏙 GORUCK Urban Ops - Played on the morning before the Anomaly. More mental than physical, diversity and numbers will give your Faction an advantage!
🌇 Operation Clear Field - A themed scavenger hunt mixed with competitive Ingress exploration, not physically or mentally demanding. (this event awards no Anomaly Points)

🔸🔸 The Enlightened and the Resistance are looking for their champions, especially for the Denver events! It's not necessary to be an athlete, but a bit of physical skill will be required.

Details for the Apollo Global Op have been revealed, featuring a focus on deploying and destroying mods!

The Event will run from 26 August 2026 at 18:00 UTC and concludes 16 September 2026 at 18:00 UTC and feature a Campaign with rewards. As usual, you will work for your faction and yourself to earn as many "Apollo Mod Battle Points" as possible. There are three ways to earn Apollo Mod Battle Points:

Destroying a mod
Each destroyed Portal Mod will award you 1 point. This point can be earned repeatedly on the same Portal.

Deploying a mod
Deploying a mod on a portal will earn you points based on the rarity of the deployed mod:
- Common: 2 Points
- Rare: 4 Points
- Very Rare: 8 Points

These Points can only be earned once per Portal, and only the highest rarity deployed will be counted. As an example, deploying a Common Shield will award you 2 points. A second Common Shield on the same Portal will not award you new points, but deploying a new Rare or Very Rare Shield instead will award you the point difference between the rarities.

Collaboration
When deploying, additional points will be awarded based on the amount of unique Agents that have deployed mods on a Portal. All Agents will be awarded the respective bonus points.

- 2 Distinct Mod Deployers: 6 Points to each participating Agent
- 3 Distinct Mod Deployers: 10 Points to each participating Agent
- 4 Distinct Mod Deployers: 16 Points to each participating Agent

Individual Rewards
The Campaign is divided into multiple Stages within the Dispatch interface. Stage 1 consists of three distinct assignments:
- Assignment 1 (🔸 Bronze Tier) - 50 Points: Bronze Apollo Global Op Medal and 2,500 Apollo Tokens
- Assignment 2 (🔸 Silver Tier) - 500 Points: Silver Apollo Global Op Medal and 2,500 Apollo Tokens
- Assignment 3 (🔸 Gold Tier) - 1000 Points: Gold Apollo Global Op Medal and 5,000 Apollo Tokens

In total, you will be able to gain 10,000 Apollo Tokens. The Campaign can be restarted twice, which will reward extra items but no additional Apollo Tokens.

Faction Score
2,000 Apollo Season Points will be distributed according to the total of Apollo Mod Battle Points accumulated by all members of each respective Faction. All proportional allocations will be rounded to one decimal place. Official results will be publicly announced within one week following the conclusion of the Global Op via a dedicated Season Score update published on ingress.com/news.

Agents are gathering in 🇰🇷Seoul, Korea and 🇫🇷 Paris, France for the second to last Anomaly weekend of the Apollo Season.

In Singapore, 304 portals have been ornamented in a 1km by 1.6km playbox. In the Central Business District of Denver, the playbox is about 1km by 800m and counts 351 portals.

The Mid-Autumn Festival Event, Operation Luna, has started and it brought some interesting new sights on the Ingress Scanner!

🍂 Leaves have started falling in the Scanner! Enable Seasonal Effects in the settings to see them!

🙋Hank Johnson or Debra Bogdanovich will alert the Agent's about the newly started Campaign, suggesting to visit the Dispatch screen. Once there, more details about the Event will be shared by the characters for each page of the Campaign completed.
