Niantic has announced further details regarding the +Beta Anomaly Series!

The season medal will work much like the previous series, with three tiers:
🥇 9000 +Beta Tokens
🥈 6000 +Beta Tokens
🥉 3000 +Beta Tokens

The schedule of Events which will compose the Anomaly Season and award +Beta Tokens has also been confirmed!

+Beta Daily Bounties - October 1st to December 14th 2025
Complete Daily Bounties and obtain 10 +Beta Tokens per Bounty plus 10 +Beta Tokens per Daily Research Bounty milestone.
300 Season Points will be distributed between the Factions based on the number of Daily Bounties redeemed.

Anomaly Events - October 18th (🇧🇷 Sao Paulo and 🇪🇸 Valencia), October 25th (🇳🇿Wellington and 🇺🇸Houston, TX) and November 15th 2025 (🇹🇼Taoyuan and 🇳🇱The Hague)
Complete the Anomaly Campaign participating at an Anomaly Event and obtain up to 5000 +Beta Tokens! A simple hack will award 3000 of these Tokens in one go!
300 Season Points will be distributed to the Factions based on the result of the Anomaly Events.

+Beta Buildup Battles - November 21st 2025 to December 1st 2025
Agents can obtain 3 to 33 +Beta Tokens by interacting with a Battle Beacon. No cap on the number of Tokens obtainable.
2,000 Season Points will be distributed based on Battle Beacon results.

+Beta Shard Storm - December 13th and 14th 2025 at 13:00-17:00 local time
A total of 50 Shards will spawn globally during this event. Hack any Portal where a Shard located to earn 1500 +Beta Tokens.
Up to 25 Season Points per Shard will be awarded if made jump more than an predetermined distance.

⚠️ Unity vulnerability discovered!

The Ingress team was made aware of a vulnerability in Ingress' game engine, Unity, due to which apps could be "susceptible to an unsafe file loading and local file inclusion attack depending on the operating system, which could enable local code execution or information disclosure".

The team immediately pushed a new update to the game upgrading Unity's version, effectively removing the vulnerability from the Ingress App. We strongly advise all players to be on the lookout for this update on your App stores.

This vulnerability affects all Unity projects on Android (and certain other platforms) and is not limited to Ingress only. Unity has provided an update to all of their engines and says that there is no evidence of any exploitation of the vulnerability, nor has there been any impact on end-users.

⚠ Daily Bounties issues after Daylight Saving Time switch.

Last night, in some countries, clocks were rolled back by one hour after Daylight Saving Time ceased to be in effect.
This brought some issues in-game, with Agents reporting not being able to redeem their daily bounties any longer.

If you are affected by this, some Agents report that a full reboot of the app or a resync may be beneficial, but this appears to resolve the issue only for a small percentage of players.

Update 28/10: Niantic published a message on their Telegram channel apologizing for the inconvenience. The team reports that they have identified all affected players and will be credited with 60 +Beta Tokens.
