Perceived value of +Theta rewards
For the first time Niantic has offered a paid upgrade to a Dispatch Campaign, allowing Agents to obtain more items as rewards for collecting +Theta tokens during the Daily Bounties, the Global Challenge and on-site events.

With a price of 30.800 CMU this upgrade is not the cheapest, and some Agents felt like the extra rewards offered for it do not reflect that price tag (aside from the fact that the highest reward tier is very hard to reach).

We want to know what the community thinks the rewards are actually worth in their own mind. To that end we invite everyone to fill out the following form in which you can assign each premium award the amount of CMU you would pay if you bought it in the store. As with +Theta there is one Anomaly medal in three tiers, obtainable by collecting tokens:

The +Delta Bounty Op Campaign has been revealed!

The easternmost countries of the world are starting to receive their +Delta Bounty Op Campaign as they roll into July 1st.
This Campaign will last until September 19th and will reward you with some additional +Delta Tokens as you complete your Daily Bounties!

5 Bounties are available, each rewarding 500 +Delta Tokens every 50 Daily Bounties completed. Completing all five bounties will reward Agents with an additional 500 +Delta Tokens for a total of 3000 Tokens.

This comes as an incentive to Agents wanting to help their faction, as 300 Season Points will be awarded to the factions at the end of the Bounty Op depending on the amount of Daily Bounties claimed during that time frame.

Heads up for Agents that want to dive head first into the Daily Bounties for +Delta!

Agents are reporting that the new Daily Bounties, which are supposed to award +Delta Tokens in regions in which it is already July, are still rewarding +Theta tokens instead. If you want to maximize your +Delta Token gain you should wait with claiming your Daily Bounties until the Ingress team fixes them.

Niantic has revealed the full rules for Anomaly Events in the +Delta Anomaly Series!

Not much has changed since the +Theta Season as far as what challenges are going to be played at events, but a notable difference was noticed in the scoring of Shards and in the distribution of Series Points for each Anomaly Event.

As far as Flash Shards are concerned, one point will be assigned to the Faction that makes a Shard travel through a friendly link, 1 additional point will be awarded if the link is longer than 499.5 meters and terminates on another Anomaly Zone Portal. 6 Points will be awarded for scoring a Shard in a target. (Max 4 per Target per wave)

The amount of Series Points for each Anomaly Event has also been redistributed as follows:
GORUCK Stealth Ops: 10 points
GORUCK Urban Ops: 10 points
Battle Beacons: 100 points
Flash Shards: 100 points
Anomaly Bounties: 80 points

Totalling 300 points per Anomaly Event.

The +Delta Reso Campaign details were published by Niantic!

The campaign will run from July 19th at 00:00 to August 3rd at 23:59 local time.

During this period Agents can earn "+Delta Reso Points": 200 Season Points will be distributed among the Factions based on the Reso Points earned.

🔸 Deploying a Level 8 Resonator: 10 Points
🔸 Upgrading a Resonator with a Level 8 Resonator: 10 Points
🔸 Owning a Portal that receives a deployed or upgraded Level 8 Resonator: 1 Point
🔸 Destroying a Resonator or any Level: 1 Point

A campaign with 7 Bounties will be available for Agents to engage, involving:

🔸 Earning “+Delta Reso Points”
🔸 Deploying Resonators
🔸 Destroying Resonators
🔸 Creating Control Fields

Completing these Bounties will award you +Delta Tokens. After completing 5 Bounties you can choose to restart the Campaign early by skipping up to 2 Bounties.

100 additional Season Points will be awarded to the factions based on the amount of Bounties claimed during the event.

The Ingress team has finally created an account for the Social Media platform bsky.app and has started posting there. At the time of writing this post the account has already gained over 170 followers without an official announcement by the team.

Agents in New Zealand are reporting that the +Delta Reso Op Campaign has not been activated at midnight local time as it was planned. If you are currently in New Zealand or are about to cross into Saturday and you cannot see the Campaign, it is not an error on your end.

At the moment, the only thing we can do is wait until Niantic fixes the issue.

Note that the two Premium Campaigns you can see in the Dispatch tab are the ones that are optional add-ons and are not the main Event Campaigns, once the event starts there should be three visible Campaigns.

Niantic has revealed the badge designs for the Hank Johnson 2025, Azmati 2025 and Carrie Campbell 2025 series which will be made available throughout the Anomaly season.

Each badge series contains three separate badges, and each of the nine badges will cost 30,800 CMU (~18,48€/~$15,40*). If you want to get all nine of the new badges you will need to spend 277,200 CMU (~166,31€/~$138,59*).

The season will run from October to December 2025 and will see XM Anomalies on the following dates:

Players in cities that will host an XM Anomaly this season have reported that their +Delta Reso Op has disappeared from their Dispatch screen.

According to reports this can happen as long as you have your Scanner open at or near one of the upcoming XM Anomaly cities, even if you are just traveling through and not interacting with the local portals.

Leaving the affected area does seem to return the Campaign after a while for some Agents, although the exact boundaries of each city and the time you have to wait is unknown. Other Agents have reported that, even after leaving, the Campaign stays hidden.

At the moment, we are not aware if Niantic is working on a solution. If you are affected and have the opportunity to do so, try working on your campaign outside of the city.

The following cities will host an Anomaly for +Delta and are therefore likely affected:

Agents recently voiced their current frustration with Ingress and the way the game is seemingly handled by Niantic Spatial on Reddit.

Brian has replied to that post and has given a bit of insights into the behind the scenes of the team at the moment.

The Ingress team is currently still working on moving from Niantic to Niantic Spatial and is expecting that this transition will continue on for a while longer. Certain processes need to be set up again, such as Mission reviewing which Brian was able to finally set up yesterday for their new team members.

In his comment, Brian also acknowledged the frustration within the community, particularly around the perceived silence from the development team. He emphasized that despite this, the team is listening closely to player feedback—even piping the subreddit’s RSS feed directly into their internal Slack channels.

Finally, Brian will begin collecting frequently asked questions from players and posting responses on Ingress's new Bluesky account. He noted that the decentralized platform gives him more control over how content is shared and curated, and that it’s accessible even without an account—allowing for greater transparency and reach.
