Niantic officially announced the Field Test: Dispatch event!
The event will run from August 23rd, 10:00 local time to September 2nd, 10:00 local time and will be available to all Agents globally.
During the event, you will receive 6 Assignments with 4 Bounties each. You'll need to complete at least 3 of these Bounties to unlock the next Assignment.
Bounties may include, but are not limited to:
- Hacking Portals
- Earning Overclock Hack Points
- Capturing/Recharging Portals
- Deploying/Destroying Resonators
- Deploying Mods
- Creating/Destroying Links/Fields
- Uploading Portal Scans
- Claiming Kinetic Programs
- Completing new Missions
Completing the second Assignment will award you the Basic Field Test: Dispatch medal, while completing all six Assignments will award the Advanced Field Test: Dispatch medal. Each Bounty can also reward you with AP and/or items.
Niantic notes that, due to Dispatch being a new feature, that some bugs may occur and that the Field Test is intended to be an opportunity to find and eliminate these bugs. Should you come across problems make sure to report them to Niantic!

The Shared Memories Series is in full swing, and there is no better time to share some memories you have made during your Ingress journey.
IUENG is running a competition to collect and share some of these memories! We are looking for the best Portal picture that you have created and which was added to the Scanner. The winner will be awarded with the new "Shared Memories: Supporter" medal.
To participate, all you have to do is share your Agent name, a Scanner link to the Portal that contains your picture and a way to contact you via the Google Form below! If you have multiple pictures on your chosen portal make sure to also submit a screenshot of the specific picture you want to submit.
The competition starts now and will end on 28 August, 1600 UTC. Once the competition closes we will draw a winner and contact them to make sure their medal is delivered correctly.

Niantic pushed a new update to Ingress Prime, v2.148.1, to the App Store and Play Store!
This small update fixes the overlapping text bug when viewing the Portal Key list and introduces a tentative fix which should improve the stability of Portal Scans and Overclock hacks.
Agents should receive this new update in the next few days as it gets rolled out to all devices.

Niantic has announced a while back that the team is working on removing Foursquare portals Türkiye and re-enabling Machina. There Portal removals are now ready and will happen in the near future.
All Foursquare Portals will be removed, even if they have been updated since they were added to the game via Title/Description edits or if they have received a picture. If you know of such Portals or have Portals with important Links, make sure to screenshot them. After the Portals have been removed you can appeal them to Niantic via the Wayfarer Forums and have them and any potentially broken Link restored.

The Field Test has started in New Zealand! Agent @Grogyan has shared this screenshot with us, showing how the interface for the Campaign screen looks like.
From this, we can see that there is a counter for which faction is currently in the lead with most Assignments completed! We can also see that the single Bounties will likely award AP while completing a page can reward Agents with items like 3 Apex!
