Niantic has added support for Apple Accounts to the Intel Map!

Agents that use their Apple ID to log into Ingress can now use the same Apple ID too log into the Intel Map without being forced to link an additional Google or Facebook account anymore.

Shortly after this addition, the IITC team released a new update for the IITC Mobile app, bringing us the new v0.37.2!

This release allows Google and Facebook login to function properly (although the latter is still being tested) but Apple ID users might want to wait for further fixes before trying to access IITC with it. We can expect this authentication method to be refined in the next releases.

You can download the IITC Mobile v0.37.2 update as a .apk file directly from the IITC website or via their F-Droid repository when available, since the application on the Google Play store is not updated anymore and is likely considered broken now.

Santiago, Chile is warming up for the imminent Anomaly Event!

In about 3 hours, the Chilean capital will experience the second event for this Anomaly Weekend but, in the meantime, the GORUCK Urban Ops are getting underway! This challenge, together with the Stealth Ops (which Agents are reporting as won by the Enlightened by 4-3) will assign the first points for the city, the remainder being decided by the Shard Battle and the Beacon Battle.

We look forward to seeing you in Alessandria, a historic and vibrant city in the heart of Piedmont. Here you will be able to admire the Baroque cathedral of St. Peter and its tall bell tower, and the legendary Cittadella, a magnificent star fortress that dates back to the 18th century and houses a military museum with more than 1,500 uniforms, weapons and other memorabilia.
Alessandria is also home to the Borsalino Museum, a historic luxury hat manufacturer that displays more than 2,000 pieces of italian high-quality headwear!
