As of 16:38 UTC today, the last Machina portal has decayed. There will be no more Machina spawns or spreads until after the first round of the Discoverie Anomaly next month.
Agents are reporting mixed results when capturing Portals that Machina decayed on, with some reporting that it counts as reclaiming it (+1 on the Machina Portals Reclaimed stat and +1331AP) with others reporting that it doesn't count.

For this reason, if you try to perform any scan, you will see this notice.

Telegram recently released an update which allows channels to posts Stories once a certain number of "Boosts" have been applied to it. At the moment, only Telegram Premium subscribers can choose to boost a channel.

Our current idea is to post reminders about events, SITREPs of both factions and other stuff that doesn't fit into the main channel as stories! If you are not a fan of stories, that means you can just mute them without worrying that you might miss something important.
You might notice "Levels" when you boost the channel. At the moment, each Level allows us to post one additional story per 24 hours, so Level 1 is 1 story, Level 2 is 2 stories and so on. Even if we get higher levels, we don't expect to post more than 2 stories per day at most.
At the moment, this is just an experiment! Depending on the feedback to the stories as well as our own experience, we might choose to stop posting stories in the future.

Niantic has released an Mission Authoring FAQ a few hours ago which details things such as how long it takes to review a mission, the Fast Track system for First Saturday and Second Sunday missions, an appeal process for certain rejected missions (e.g. using an image that isn't yours, but you have permission to use it) and tips on what to do when a mission is rejected. The FAQ also mention that Agents that keep resubmitting rejected Missions without trying to fix the issues for which they were rejected might be suspended from creating Missions.
If you are regularly submitting Missions or are running into issues during the review process, you should read through the article below!
