Agents will be asked to capture 4.000.000 neutral Portals in total from Friday, May 21st @ 16:00 UTC to Tuesday, June 1st @ 16:00 UTC!
• Captures are not counted uniquely, the same portal can be captured from the neutral state multiple times and they will all count towards the event.
• A new metric will be added to the Profile screen of Agents to help them monitor their progress.
The following bonuses will be active for the duration of the event:
• Drone Mark I cooldown of60 15 minutes
• 2x AP for Resonators deployed
Our reward for completing this challenge will be a new Kinetic Capsule program which we will be able to choose by voting on a Community Forum poll from June 1st @ 19:00 UTC to June 8th @ 19:00 UTC.

Many agents have experienced issues with the Agent stat tied to the Operation Sentinel Global Challenge. Niantic has advised that the issues are now resolved, and captures have been counted retroactively up to the start of the event.
Additionally, the Event Designer for this Challenge (NianticChiaki) has clarified that, initially, only the 1st and 8th Resonator deployed were entitled to receive double AP but, due to an internal communication issue all Resonators deployed have received the bonus. The 2x AP bonus will remain active for all Resonators deployed.

Niantic published the Release Notes for Ingress Prime v2.72.1, coming shortly to your devices!
The main focus of this release is the upgrade for the game to Unity 2019 LTS.
