It's been a wonderful year for our channel, we had more than 3000 new members since last year and I couldn't be more grateful, both for this result and for my awesome friends running the house because without them, this channel wouldn't even exist. Happy 2020 to all our followers!

When will the tweaking of code be completed so the intel map will consistently work again?
Today is the first saturday of the month, which means that all around the world, Agents are gathering for the monthly Ingress First Saturday Events!

Over the course of the next two weeks, starting Jan 7 and ending Jan 17, the Ingress team will be working on updates to the Intel Map. This work will take place from 10:00am - 5:00pm PST on weekdays.
In the meantime, if you notice any unexpected or bug-like behavior apart from 502 server errors (which are the result of a known issue we're actively working on addressing), please reply on this thread with a description of what you're experiencing and details about what device and browser you're using to access Intel Map.
We'll be using this info to continue to improve the Intel Map and eliminate unforeseen issues in our updates.

A fast peek to February 29th events:
Event in the early afternoon, 30 minutes to register before the event starts, 90 minutes to play.
Six individual challenges:
1. Collect at least 6 media Artifacts
2. Make at least 36 successful portal hacks
3. Deploy at least 30 Resonators
4. Deploy at least 12 Mods
5. Gain at least 30 Glyph Points
6. Destroy at least 6 Resonators
The rewards are the Hexathlon medal, with elite version for the top 10% in each city, no downgrade if you already had it and do not reach top 10%. There will be a Perpetua medal for participants who complete the challenges.
Also new characters medals: Hank Johnson, Yuri Nagassa and Roland Jarvis!
Niantic isn't planning on having GORUCK, OCF or OPR Live Events but they will give priority to Hexathlon City Mission Day applications for a fun-filled weekend!

If you encounter any nominations or edits while reviewing that you believe are inappropriate or show signs of abuse, use this form to report the nomination or edit in question.
This form is only open to Wayfinders!
What can you report via the form:
- Offensive or abusive title/description edits.
- Invalid location edits.
- Issues with photos.
- Fake nominations.
Note: Wayfinders can report an inappropriate nomination during the review process. While reviewing the nomination, select one-star for the “Should this be a Wayspot” question and select the appropriate rejection reason.
What information do I need to include in the report:
1) Title of the Wayspots
2) Location (click the Google icon on the map to open the map in a separate tab and copy the URL)
3)Reason for reporting
4)Any additional information to explain why this candidate was reported.

Niantic, after reviewing Agents' feedback, decided to change how medals will be awarded on the next Perpetua Hexathlon Events.
• The Perpetua medal will be earned by completing all six challenges of the Hexathlon.
• The Perpetua Elite medal will be earned by completing all six challenges and placing in the top 10% in your city for any of the challenges.
Regarding the Field Test medal: Hexathlon medals will be removed from this event and remain as a commemorative medal for participating in the Field Test.
