Krug finally announced the new procedure for Trusted Reporter Program Resumes!

If you want to highlight suspected spoofing activity to the Trusted Reporters, follow these steps. 
-Do not submit actions to Trusted Reporters that are over seven (7) days old. 

-Enlightened: @IngressEnlTRBot
-Resistance: @IngressResTRBot
-Using Telegram, send a “/start” message to your faction specific Trusted Reporter bot account. Submitting a report to the opposite factions bot may get you banned from using the bot:
-Complete the four action items listed by the bot. 

-Within 48 hours a Trusted Reporter will review the activity you flagged and inform you via the bot that they will or will not escalate the activity to NIA OPS to review.

[...] At this time we are only accepting reports of accounts suspected of spoofing. For all other support related issues please submit a ticket via the normal process at http://support.ingress.com.

AMA Answers for November have been published! There will be no AMA in December due to the holidays.

General
● VR Link Amps won’t be back in the Portal Network anytime soon.
● Using a ADA Refactor or Jarvis Virus on a portal won’t make it count as a Unique Portal Capture, though you can complete a mission waypoint by capturing a Portal with a flipcard.

Ingress Prime Issues
● Niantic is aware of the scanner not working under 2G connection.
● Linking possible after reaching the 8 outbound links limit is being looked into.

Ingress Prime FRs
● The team is working on a personalization feature for the avatar on the map.
● Developers will look into the possibility of optionally unlocking the app from its 60fpsframe rate on capable devices.
● An “Automatic Filter” (which automatically recycles certain items, ed.) has been discussed by the team. It might be introduced in the game as part of a subscription
service.
● Adventure Sync will be implemented in the game. After this is done, it will be possibleto introduce a Capsule which duplicates items based on walked Kilometers.

Events
● Niantic “has every attention to release a schedule of upcoming events with anacceptable lead time to avoid last minute travel plans”. Unfortunately, though, a
release date for Anomaly Dates is not known yet.
● Events such as IntelOps and OPR live are being reviewed. They have not been heldfrequently lately and ticking their medal up is pretty difficult.

Wayfarer/OPR
● Nothing is planned to encourage reviews, at the moment.
● Two guides have been created and reorganized: Potentially Confusing Candidates

When you decode a challenge, it will result in a passcode. Redeeming this passcode on the intel will reward you with a unique media object for that Archetype and also record your solve time for the public leaderboard. The leaderboard will be updated each day, revealing the fastest decoder. 13 Archetypes form a Magnus.

Ingress Japan Employee, Fumi, had an extremely interesting visit to the NL-1331X Vehicle and published a complete report on her personal blog!

This awesome "XM Detection Vehicle" is Niantic's most advanced mobile laboratory and is fitted with computer screens, lights, a big panel that indicates the status of the NL-1331 Portal, and a lot of Ingress-themed details all over it!
Here are some pictures she took, along with the original blog entry (in Japanese)!
You now know what to expect at the next NL-1331 events, which are yet to be organised!

Agent @modos189, one of the developers of the new version of IITC, contacted us to collaborate on an article that would explain the history of this incredibly useful and controversial tool.

He has created a detailed article in which he explains what IITC is, why some Agents might decide not to use it and why so many do instead, the history of the tool development, the people that alternated in carrying on the project and why some bans occurred in December 2013.

Finally we can read what the state of this tool is now, where it is headed and what are the plans for the future.

We would like as many agent as possible to be informed about the tool, especially if you are against it or a convinced supporter, to see the points of view of the other opinion, as we think that this article is neutral and very well detailed.
