The Singapore National Co-operative Federation Ltd (SNCF), Singapore’s Cybersports Online & Gaming Association (SCOGA), and the Singapore Ingress communities have come together to organize the SCOOP Trail 2017 x INGRESS Race. The purpose of this event is to build awareness amongst youths about local co-operatives in an easy and fun way.

Using hints and in-game navigation, participants have to find their way to their respective checkpoints to complete the missions. Each mission will end at a game booth where the participants have to complete a set of questions in order to proceed with the next mission.

This document just appeared on the ingress community, and it says..

- we'll see three distinct phases, each lasting approximately two weeks
- during the first phase three sets of shards are expected to emerge
- five sets will emerge during each of the following two phases
- the target portals will be various
- initially we predict thirteen targets per faction
- this number will reduce across each phase
- the final phase is currently predicted at six target per faction
- the target will destabilize and relocate at the end of each phase
- shards are expected to travel on links connecting portals of level seven or higher
- the initial shards will emerge into the portal network FEBRUARY 11th

If Niantic will decide to launch an Anomaly Event (on Saturday as done in the last two years), we think that February is too full of other events to organise it. All Saturdays of March have a local MissionDay, so we will probably have to wait the 8th or 22th of April to have one (the 16th of April is Easter, a Christian holiday), that would probably be after the end of the global shard event.

NL1331 Experimental XM Research Mission Manila

Agents we are pleased to announce that #NL1331 will be continuing its experimental XM research mission in Manila, Philippines with a series of events leading up to a very special #NL1331 x-faction event and Mission day on the 18th & 19th of February! Throughout the week leading up to the 18th we will be doing a series of #FindTheKlue dead-drops across the Country. We will also be releasing a large amount of special Badges/Bio cards to be placed randomly in event packs including a very rare original OLW and ADA badge (some signed by John Hanke). We will also do a player stat competition for a series of character badge cards (details TBD) . We look forward to what promises to be a truly epic event and can't wait to meet so many new agents!
